Good morning. \u00c2\u00a0Yesterday is a bit of a blur. \u00c2\u00a0After the Mr. left in the morning the kids and I got ready for the day. \u00c2\u00a0We were out the door by 8:00a.m and after I dropped the kiddos off at school I met my friend at Red Rocks for a walk.<\/p>\n
Lacey decided to take herself for a little exercise as well. \u00c2\u00a0I was getting in the car to go to my acupuncture appointment when I noticed a yellow lab down the street. \u00c2\u00a0I got out and called her name\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6gave a quick whistle and she \u00c2\u00a0turned\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6looked at me, and ran. \u00c2\u00a0Yes, she ran between two houses. \u00c2\u00a0I drove down the street where my sweet old dog had disappeared just in time to see her squeeze through a fence. \u00c2\u00a0She has a friend, Roxy the red dog that lives down the street that she apparently decided to visit.<\/p>\n
Auntie B. was in her yard and heard me whistling and calling for Lacey. \u00c2\u00a0Auntie B. came to the fence to witness my dog’s ability at selective listening. \u00c2\u00a0She wouldn’t come for the words, “Treat, “Leash”, or “Car Ride.” Auntie B. was going to take her four legged friend for a walk, so she graciously told me to go to my appointment and she would get Lacey. \u00c2\u00a0I was halfway to my appointment when she called to reassure me that Lacey was okay and playing in her yard with Bodie(sp). \u00c2\u00a0Needless to say, Lacey had a fun day.Thank you again, Auntie B.<\/p>\n
The youngest went to a friend’s to play after school and the oldest had Talent show practice. \u00c2\u00a0I picked up the oldest, grabbed the youngest from his friend’s home and made a quick stop at home, so the oldest could change into his baseball uniform. \u00c2\u00a0We were out the door in 12 minutes and off to the game.<\/p>\n
The game was okay. \u00c2\u00a0The Coach let a couple of the back up pitchers start and combined they walked in 6 or 7 runs. \u00c2\u00a0Our team rallied to tie it up at 12 to 12 when the catcher over threw the third baseman and the other team scored their 13th run to win the game. \u00c2\u00a0Oh well\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6at least our coach lets all the kids have a chance.<\/p>\n
We have to make a Costco run and find an inexpensive pair of dress shoes of the oldest\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6.size 9 1\/2 or 10 mens\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6I wonder what size he’ll wear when he is 17?<\/p>\n
