Well as I’m sure you all know, the Broncos lost a close one last night. This is despite the flat out bad officiating for the entire game. But like I said, no one will remember the bad calls, only the loss. So time to cowboy up and move on and come back strong next week. See how that works!<\/p>\n
Yesterday Jag and I left around 10 for baseball. It was a long cold game against a clearly superior team. It was so bad we looked like the Bad News Bears from the movie. We even had a 9 year old (it’s a 12 year old league) who’d never played, playing for us so we had 9 players. It was pretty comical but the kids played their best which is all you can ask for. I think we have a game next week but we’ll see, we just might be done.<\/p>\n
The boys played hard for the rest of the day until dinner and then bed. I tried to keep the misses quiet on the couch but she made dinner and other stuff.<\/p>\n
Here in Denver a mother with her 1 year old was stabbed at 12:30 yesterday afternoon at a light rail (train) station during a robbery. We just don’t know what’s going on these days. People are really really desperate and violent crime is up. I only mention this as if this can happen in the middle of the day to a young mother with her baby in a stroller, it can happen to anyone. You’ve got to be aware and be careful! I’ll leave it at that.<\/p>\n
