Sounds like a song doesn’t it. Well both the misses and I are hurting all over, so to speak. You see the misses head is well, you know, the same. Meanwhile I jacked my knee up probably lifting too much weight at the gym. Guess I need to take it easy tomorrow.<\/p>\n
We did manage to get the Christmas light hung with care and I cleaned out the gutters by hand as I went. The boys were playing here there and everywhere for most of the day.<\/p>\n
Of course our garage door motor broke. We replaced the doors a few months ago but used our old motors to save some money. It finally caught up with us. I came out in the garage and found Lori standing in the 4 wheel drive Ranger, in her robe with not much else on underneath, trying to fix the chain. I jumped up to try to get the chain back on and finally the sprocket snapped off the motor. It’s just one of those bad cycles we’re in where every time we turn around, some unexpected expense that can’t wait, pops up!<\/p>\n
It’s Sunday night right now and I’m writing this to save me some time in the morning. I’ve also started filling the coffee maker at night just to save a few minutes as well. I need all the extra time I can get, especially in the morning.<\/p>\n
Lori has a busy week which she’ll have to get through with a pounding head. I too have lots going on but am at least not in pain. We wanted to try to get to California this month but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. Between all our pressures (work, travel, bills, etc.) and her yet to be scheduled surgery, we just won’t be able to make it. Maybe we can squeeze in a two day trip before Christmas but we can’t make any promises. Lori and I have to fly to Florida for a Bocelli event early December but we’ll only be gone 60 hours or two nights. We also have an event in Colorado Springs before that and I probably have to get to New York, Boston and New Jersey as well. Throw in Thanksgiving, a 4 day trip around Colorado for work and Jag’s birthday and Christmas will be here before we know it. Maybe we should just schedule a trip right after the first of the year. We’ll keep you posted but we will get out there.<\/p>\n
