Where did the weekend go? Last night the good looking one and I were saying it’s like we didn’t even have a break. It’s 6am now and we’re on the move. Hopefully I’ll get wine today as tomorrow it’ll be much colder and maybe snow. I have lots to do today though so it’s a double edged sword.<\/p>\n
Check these 3 little stories out, something different for the day,<\/p>\n

1 – First Important Lesson – Cleaning Lady<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
During my second month of college, our professor<\/p>\n
Gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student<\/p>\n
<\/i>And had breezed through the questions until I read<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n the last one:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n “What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?”<\/i><\/b><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the<\/p>\n cleaning woman several times. She was tall,<\/p>\n dark-haired and in her 50’s, but how would I know her name?<\/p>\n I handed in my paper, leaving the last question<\/i><\/b> the last question would count toward our quiz grade.<\/p>\n “Absolutely, ” said the professor.. “In your careers,<\/i><\/b> deserve your attention and care, even if all you do<\/p>\n is smile and say “hello..”<\/p>\n I’ve never forgotten that lesson.. I also learned her<\/i><\/b> One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American<\/i><\/b> trying to endure a lashing rain storm. Her car had<\/p>\n broken down and she desperately needed a ride.<\/p>\n Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car.<\/p>\n A young white man stopped to help her, generally<\/p>\n unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960’s. The man<\/p>\n took her to safety, helped her get assistance and<\/p>\n put her into a taxicab.<\/p>\n She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his<\/i><\/b> knock came on the man’s door. To his surprise, a<\/p>\n giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A<\/p>\n special note was attached.\u00c2\u00a0It read:<\/i><\/b> the other night. The rain drenched not only my<\/p>\n clothes, but also my spirits.\u00c2\u00a0 Then you came along.<\/p>\n Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying<\/p>\n husband’s’ bedside just before he passed away… God<\/p>\n Bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others.”<\/i><\/b><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n Sincerely,\u00c2\u00a0<\/i><\/b> 3 – Third Important Lesson – Always remember those\u00c2\u00a0<\/i><\/b>Who serve.\u00c2\u00a0<\/i><\/b> sat at a table.. A waitress put a glass of water in\u00c2\u00a0Front of him.<\/i><\/b><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n “How much is an ice cream sundae?” he asked.\u00c2\u00a0<\/i><\/b>“Fifty cents,” replied the waitress.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and s<\/i><\/b>tudied the coins in it.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n “Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?” he inquired.<\/i><\/b> “Thirty-five cents,” she brusquely replied.<\/i><\/b> cream, paid the cashier and left..\u00c2\u00a0 When the waitress<\/p>\n came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the<\/p>\n table.\u00c2\u00a0 There, placed neatly beside the empty dish,<\/p>\n were two nickels and five pennies..<\/p>\n You see,\u00c2\u00a0 he couldn’t\u00c2\u00a0 have the sundae, because he had<\/i><\/b> <\/p>\n Tomorrow I’ll share a few more. Hopefully these will brighten your day. \n<\/i><\/b>By now more people were waiting for a table and the<\/i><\/b>
\n<\/i><\/b>
\nwaitress was growing impatient..<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\n<\/i><\/b>“I’ll have the plain ice cream,” he said.<\/i><\/b>
