Last night Lori gave me some Benadryl so we all overslept this morning. It’s now 6:35 which as I’m sure you know, means we’re running late. We did get the basement and kitchen all painted though and now the clean up begins. There’s more painting to do but the two big jobs are out of the way.<\/p>\n
We hit the baseball cages yesterday with the professional batting machines. Jagger worked in a\u00c2\u00a0pitching session and then hit the machines. His coach and his son showed up as I let them join us to use the machine which Jagger’s pitching coach let us use for free. Normally they run $50 an hour to use. His son jumped\u00c2\u00a0in there and we had the machine turned up to 52 miles and hour which is a pretty fast pitch but with Jag, we worked out with the speed turned up to 66mph! He’d hit 60mph pitches before but never 66. I don’t think we’ll face any kids that can throw that fast at this age, it was pretty impressive. Again he looked like a man compared to his teammate who looked like a boy. His coach was quite impressed as Jag even hit a perfect bunt on request off the fast pitches. Hopefully we’ll have practice today as it didn’t snow as they said it would.<\/p>\n
