Both boys received glowing reports from all their teachers at back to school night. There were lots of parents as it was an all school event. We arrived to a reception with refreshments including killer appetizers, beer, wine and assorted non alcoholic drinks. Next up was an introduction speech by the Director of the school who is actually a really cool guy who has been a educator his entire life.<\/p>\n
Then we all headed off with maps our kids had made us to each classroom to meet their teachers and learn more about each subject. As I said, both boys are doing great and their teachers had nothing but good things to say about them. That was really good to hear.<\/p>\n
This morning I was going to run down the hill to Big D but will postpone that until next week. Of course we are going down Sunday for the big game. I guess the Patriots were cheating again as the headsets for the Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t work for the entire first half last night.<\/p>\n
It’s going to get cool soon as Fall is on the way. I’ve always been able to smell it in the air. Lori is still changing things at work, all for the better. Tomorrow after soccer is Octoberfest in Vail and I think we’ll all walk around town. Should be fun.<\/p>\n
