Well we tried. Between the snow and the fracture in Lori’s back, we couldn’t make it. Probably for the best as the way Lori is moving around, had we made the plane, she’d probably be in a wheelchair or the hospital by now. Looks like surgery is needed for sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dixie is sad, Lori is sad and so are the boys and I. On top of it all, I woke up early for no reason, cleaned the snow off the car, and packed Lori’s stuff and some other things for Denver like the dry cleaning. Now were not sure what the plan is. We’re hoping Dixie can somehow get in on the first wave of shots so she’ll be protected. We’ll have to figure out what to do with the dogs. Mojo is old of course but the real problem is we’re not sure anyone or place could handle Harley. We’ll see. Anyhow everything happens for a reason and it’s obviously in God’s plan that Lori didn’t go and that Dixie doesn’t travel right now. Everyone was against Dixie traveling right now except Lori and I think Dixie. We’ll figure it out and somehow get together with her soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, like yesterday, Lori needs to stay in bed. Not sure what she did to her back this time but Dr. B. says it is fractured and she needs an A Lift where they go in form the front by her hip. First up though is to get it calmed down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It snowed all the way up to when we went to bed. It’s cold outside in the single digits I’d guess. We only have a few new inches here at the house but the higher elevations got a lot. Jag is done with his finals and Ty’s start Monday. We all have a huge week around here. While it would have been good for Dixie to see the house, she wouldn’t have seen much of us four all week until next Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
