It was a good day. Ty has a job, our meeting was great and Lori and Jag are working away. Today I have 3 hours or so of meetings and then a dinner out before getting up at 3:45am for my 4:30 airport pickup in the morning. Seems early but that’s 4:45 Colorado time which is when I usually get up anyhow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We had a fun day down here. It’s so good to connect with everyone again as it’s been years since we’ve all been together. Everyone is the same, older, but the same. We were talking yesterday and Jody said how he’d been here for 17 years! Luisa, Tom and Kristin for 20! Antonio of course since the beginning with me which is 21 years or a third of my life. Wow, half of us have been together for almost 20 years! We’ve seen each other’s kids be born and grow up, been to weddings, watched divorces and seen a fair share of our parents pass away. When you think about it, that’s really remarkable. We really are like a family. Most of the other guys have been here 5 years plus. That’s a pretty good testament to who we are as a Company I’d say. Next year I think I’ll take everyone back to Europe as the last time we went was our trip to France, Slovenia and Italy about 5 years ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s hot but not unbearable. The house of course has a\/c so all is good there and we have a large private pool. Almost 7:30 now so time to get going. I’ve made a couple pots of coffee and the troops are slowly rising. The younger ones, (40 to 50, ha), stay up talking until 1 or 2 each night. I crashed at 10:30.
