79 years ago today was the day the allies landed on the beaches of Normandy France. It was a big turning point in the war. I just read a factual account of this called Band of Brothers which was quite a riveting story. Hard to believe it’s almost been 80 years. Not many, if any, veterans left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sunny and green up here. I’m headed down to Denver to drop Ty and pick up some wine from the warehouse and return some shoes along with a couple other stops. Lori is in Edwards today. Ty is up and ready to go. He has about 3 or 4 places lined up to try to get a job. We’ll pick him up when were done with our derm appointment on Thursday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I cleaned out the garage yesterday and sent most all of Dixie’s broken furniture to the dump. Good to have that crossed off my list. Orkin came too but I already had the ants all taken care of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
