Finally feeling better. Problem is, Lori now has what I had, ha. I did drive down to the hospital yesterday to pick her up a Z-pak at the pharmacy. I made it through my cold with fresh ginger and lemon water for a week. Also took lots of zinc and Vitamin C. Hopefully Lori is feeling better today or tomorrow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ty went down to Denver to meet Tommy who is working on cleaning out his old house so he can get it on the market. He gave Ty a bunch of old sports memorabilia and Beanie Babies. He has a bunch of rock and roll stuff for Jagger too. So nice of him to give this stuff to the boys as they’ll cherish it forever. Funny how stuff like that that we accumulate over the years doesn’t seem so important when we get older. I have a bunch of that kind of stuff too. Problem is no one will give you anything for your stuff anymore. Take antiques, we’ve been paying to store mom’s for over 5 years and can’t give them away. I literally have to pay someone to take them to the dump. Funny how things change, but again, the boys will love this stuff. It’s like it’s all getting a second life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ty stayed at his buddy Jude’s last night. I let him go to the western wear store and buy some stuff. He got a pair of jeans, a vest and a jacket. I told him to buy Jude a jacket and a pair of jeans too. Jude has been working since high school as his mom had some health issues and is a single parent. He had a rough childhood and is a really good kid who works hard to take care of himself and his mom. I just wanted to help him out a bit. He was super thankful as I knew he would be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jag flies home tonight from California. I’m sure it was fun. It warmed up yesterday and will be warmer again today. Looks like a nice warm week headed our way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Think I feel good enough to get to the gym this morning. I’ve only been once in the past week, so I need to get in there. I did manage to get my haircut yesterday on the way back from the pharmacy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
