I just finished reading the book Crow Killer. It’s the true story of Jeremiah Johnson. Pretty amazing book. If people these days had to survive as they did in the mid to late 1800’s, most wouldn’t make it. It shows you just how soft we’ve become as a species in 150 years or so. Most would say how far we’ve advanced, and while we have technologically, you could easily argue that we’ve gone backwards socially. Kind of eerie that while I was reading this book, that Robert Redford passed away, as of course, he played Johnson in the hit 1972 movie. I still remember the first time I saw it (probably seen it over 50 times, literally) in a little movie theater in Glenwood Springs Colorado in the early 70’s. Lots of life lessons in that book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
