40 days until Easter. We’re not catholic, but it’s a good day to start some sort of commitment by giving something up for lent. You can also do something like tell yourself, I’m going to do something nice for someone each day. It can be as simple as complimenting someone, let’s say your spouse, each day! You get it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ty’s off to work. This is his eighth day in a row! He’s also been to the gym every day and is on a strict diet. We’re so proud of him as it’s also 8 days without a drop of alcohol! That’s hard in itself. Lori works in Vail today. No real snow up here, a little in Vail and on the Pass, but nothing like forecasted. It could still come today, we’ll see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lots going on at work. I’m hiring two new people, and April 1st will be letting two long time employees go. One’s been with me over 20 years and the other 13 years. It won’t be easy but is necessary as the industry has changed and they no longer fit the needs of the Company. It’ll be a tough day, but being a leader sometimes requires tough decisions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
