All the experts have us losing to the L.A. Rams tonight, so I think we’re going to win! I’m much more nervous when everyone picks us to win. You never know. Ty will probably leave around noon for the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yesterday we went to see the new Brad Pitt movie. Critics hate it but it was good except they could have done better with some of the AI generated animals which looked pretty fake, Still, as Robi said, it was basically one guy (Brad) and a dog and that was the whole movie. The scenery also was really beautiful which is what Alaska is, beautiful and relatively unspoiled. I’m trying to get it together to take Lori and the boys on a fishing trip to a lodge in Alaska next summer. Anyone want to go? Robi? Tom? It’ll be an epic trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Molly, Ty’s boss, offered him $80k a year salary, 2 weeks paid vacation, a ski pass and health insurance to stay with her. I told him that’s a huge compliment and really says something about him. He should accept and say, “I just need 90 days off at the first of the year”! Ty is indispensable at the restaurant, and we all know how hard it is to find people that are responsible and want to work, much less universally loved, reliable and competent, like Ty. He said she’s kind of freaking out having him gone for 3 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jag bought some new pants yesterday and also picked up the two pair we bought him. He had a gift card for $325 bucks from us buying the pants, so he bought a sweater and a few other things. We’re sending him a box tomorrow with three of his coats for Fall. Weather will be changing soon. Fall is in the air!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
