We haven’t talked to Jag since he’s been in New York but can see him on our phone in real time by looking at location sharing. He’s pretty much only at the Rockefeller Center on 5th Avenue as that’s where the office is and his hotel. He works today and tomorrow and then fly’s back to Chicago at 7pm tomorrow night. I know he’s busy as we text during the day a few times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ty worked some party last night for some Democrat group. He came home and said these people are crazy, which is what they are. Since when did it become normal to support communism and socialism. Here in Colorado besides raising taxes, they want to ban all hunting and fishing, and outlaw natural gas! They’re even running ads saying don’t vote for natural gas as you’re voting for the polluters! I thought natural gas was the cleanest form of energy, right? Then you have the constant blatant lies saying people voted for things like doubling your health care costs, voted against children, voted for billionaires to have tax cuts (that’s their favorite) and oh yea, voted to support pedophiles. Any sane person should know all of that is bs, but I guess lots of people are stupid or they wouldn’t run the ads. I try to stay out of it but these days if someone is supports the Democrats, you can’t help but lose some respect for them as it shows how stupid, or at best, misinformed, they are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kudos to my bud James from Metallica who made national news by saying at his show in Vegas that we’re here to play music, not spread bullshit political beliefs. He basically said entertainers shouldn’t use their platform to tell anyone what to think or how to vote, or in his words, shut the fuck up and support America. Now the fact that this is news is crazy. The news should be showing entertainers that hate America, not a guy who stands up for America. Outside of him and Mick Jagger, no one else has said entertainers should just play music and keep their thoughts to themselves. Two good guys. Oh, by the way, looks like the Stones are going to do a residency! My concert buddy Chris, who had dinner with Ronnie and Keith a while ago in L.A., is dialing us in. Not sure where it is yet, probably New York he says so they can go home each night to their houses in Connecticut. Wherever it is, we’ll get tickets and backstage privileges and possibly get to hang with the band for a bit. Wouldn’t that be fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well, almost 7am, time to get going as I need to go to the gym today. I’ve taken the past two days off. Think I’ve been overtraining. Almost mid-month. Won’t be long until Halloween.
