Well, we lost. A couple really bad calls helped the outcome, but it is what it is. The snow kicked in big time in the second half which didn’t help things. I don’t think anyone scored in the second half. Still, we overachieved this year big time. We should be really good next year. Here comes the off season.
The kids had a blast until the final whistle. Ty stayed in Denver with the bad weather. Lori was going down today so she could help Jag get organized, but we’ll wait until tomorrow as the weather is supposed to be better.
We had a nice time with Marty and Mel here. Mark came over to watch the game too. Lori’s tortilla soup was good and of course, so was the birthday cake she made for Melanie.
Today we’ll work around the house. It’ll start warming up this afternoon and the rest of the week looks good. It’s around ten below up here, but that’s ok. In a little over 60 days, it’ll be the first of April and we’ll be celebrating Easter. We dodged the snow for a good three months. The news just showed Denver is at about half of where it should be for snowfall for the season. It’s worse up here. I’m sure we’ll get a couple good storms in February and March to catch up.
Gold is almost at $5100 and silver at $110. I don’t see a whole lot that can stop it. At this rate, it could reach $10k this year! I’m changing my prediction to around $8600 by the end of the year. That means 10 ounces will be worth $86,000! That’s a nice return when the average price of your holdings is around $2500 an ounce or $25k for ten ounces. You can, and still should, buy if you can. I’m more bullish on gold than silver as you have to buy a lot of silver to take advantage of the gains. Crazy times.
Time to go. Have a great last Monday of January. Stay warm, safe and God Bless.
