Heading home

The week’s over and this afternoon I’ll be flying home. It was a good week, although a bit long. I on’t really feel much like writing today so I’ll leave it at that. Maybe the misses can pick up where I’m leaving off. Have a great day, GB

Jag’s home

Lori made it down to the airport by about 9:30am to pick up Jag and his two friends. Glad he’s home safe from his Austin experience.

We had another good day up here and today will wrap up by 2pm. Then we’ll all catch a ferry to a cabin out on one of the islands for a bbq and evening of fun. Tomorrow we all leave for home and I’ll land around 7pm.

Time to run as my meetings start in 45 minutes. Take care and GB.

Bowling?

After our all day meeting, we took our group into downtown Seattle to a place called the Garage. It was an old car dealer that has been turned into a bowling alley. It’s located in an area called Capital Hill which has nothing to do with the State Capital as that’s located some 90 miles south in Olympia. Anyhow we bowled for a couple hours before heading back to the house. There we hung out for the next 3 hours or so before going to bed.

Some fun stuff at the first day of our meeting. We announced that we’re going into France and French wines big time as one of the oldest families in France and wine has agreed to invest in us to build their brands in the U.S. More on that in the coming days.

Jag is on a plane right now and Lori is on the way to Denver to pick him up. She’ll also grab Ty from Ben’s house before heading back up the hill. Guess I’ll run, it’s cooler here today which is nice. It feels like Seattle should feel, a little cool with a slight breeze coming off the water. Time to run, have a great day, God Bless

Sunny in Seattle

I landed about 9:20 and by the time I picked up my Ford Flex rental car and grabbed a bite to eat, Brian had landed so I picked him up too. We made it to the office a bit after 11am and then started to work. Our people arrived throughout the day and by 5 in the afternoon, everyone was here.

Antonio was on cooking duty and all afternoon made Osso Bucco and Milanese Rissotto for dinner. Throw in a bunch of appetizers and wine (although I don’t drink) and everyone had a good time.

Meanwhile Jag isn’t having quite as much fun. He says the Program is pretty lame and pretty much disagrees with much of what’s being said in the Program. I told him to tough it out as all through life he’ll run into people who have different views and opinions on things and you need to learn how to deal with them. Just look at the current election, right?

Lori made it up to Vail in time for work and then picked up Mojo after her day was done. I guess he played with one of the girls at the Pet Centers dog that was a Mastiff. Sounds like he had a good time. Ty took off in the afternoon and is staying and playing with Ben right next door to Grandma in Denver until tomorrow.

So there you have it, that’s what we’re all up to. Hope you all are doing fine. It was sunny and hot in Seattle, like in the 80’s which is about as nice as it gets. My meetings start at 8 and it’s 6:30 so I’d better get moving. Have a great day and GB.

Who’s where?

Ok, this is a test, where’s Jagger, where’s Lori, where’s Ty and where am I? Let’s see how many of you can get it right.

The memorial service yesterday was nice from what Lori said. The traffic to Denver was crap and so far we’re getting mixed reviews on the college seminar Jag is at. I’ll be home Friday, Jag on Wednesday, Lori today and Ty today as well, but only for a moment.

Ty’s buddy Ben and his Mom are picking him up and the way back from Walla Walla and Ty will go stay with Ben for a couple days.

It’s hot here, in Vail and in California too. I’m at my gate waiting for my flight to board which takes off in an hour, so time to run, GB

4:34am

It’s early, really early, but time to get moving. I woke up on and off during the night knowing I had to get up early to get Jagger up for his trip. He was still awake at midnight so that means he’s only had about 4 1/2 or 5 hours of sleep. Oh well, live and learn.

Yesterday he packed his bag on his own and we went to Walgreens to get him some toiletries for the trip. I picked Ty up a bit after noon and he and I ran some errands before heading home.

This afternoon Ty is going to go to Sonny’s where he’ll spend the night until tomorrow. It’s now 5am and I just went downstairs to get Jag out of bed as he was still sleeping. He says he has a little headache which he probably does with such little sleep. Mojo goes to doggie day care at 9 this morning, hope he does well.

I’m still working on my presentation for next week. I need to send it off this morning to Luisa who works for me so she can incorporate it into the overall program for the week. It’s still dark outside but it’s actually nice to be up to see the sun come up. When’s the last time any of you saw a sunrise? You should try it sometime as even though it’s a daily occurrence, it’s pretty remarkable to watch.

So today is Jim’s memorial service in Sacramento. It’ll be at the Yacht Club where they kept the boat he loved so much. It seems he was always there whenever we came to town. He was a good guy, especially to the kids as he always made time for them and made sure they had a good time. It’s like he remembered how to be a kid and channeled his inner kid when they were around. From a bunch of toys he dug out from some compartment below deck in the boat when they were younger, to pulling them behind a speedboat on a inner tube up and down the river last time we were there. There was also the time he spent with them at Don’s service playing with them a year or so ago. We hope he’s at the big Yacht Club in Heaven now on some shiny new boat having a good time. He was also a minister as we remember he married people all the time. Hope the service is a good celebration of his life.

Guess I’ll run as Jag is getting picked up in 30 minutes. Have a great day and God Bless.

A mini break

Today is the only day where I have sort of a break. It’s not really a break though as there’s about 80 things I’m behind on getting done. Lori is in California and Ty spent the night at a friends while I worked on my presentation which needs to be finished and ready to go for my week long meeting in 48 hours. Jag and I went for a hamburger for dinner and then I continued to work. Mojo didn’t sleep well with his Mom gone and woke me up several times during the night. On top of all this, Jody who works for me, had to rush his wife to the hospital as something burst internally and she needed emergency surgery. Looks like he won’t be able to make it to Seattle next week which is bad on a bunch of levels. I haven’t talked to him, just texted.

In closing, I turned on the boob tube yesterday to see a bunch of protesters rioting and chasing, and beating Trump supporters including seniors and women while the police in San Jose just watched. I was stunned! You see the mayor of San Jose is a Hillary supporter so he ordered his men not to intervene. He said they didn’t stop the violence as they thought it would escalate it. Are you kidding me? Lucky no one was shot. I was saddened to watch old people and women here in America be physically abused and harmed for going to a political rally. Everything was fine until supporters went outside where hired mobs chased and beat people they didn’t agree with, unbelievable. Yesterday Jagger said “excuse my language but the World is fucked”, and then asked why the police didn’t stop the violence and save those people. I had no answer.

God Bless

Off to California

This morning Lori is off to California, providing she makes it to the airport on time and gets through the security lines on time and then if her plane leaves on time. Flying isn’t what it used to be! She’ll be there for 51 hours before leaving for home.

It’ll be over 100 degrees the next few days in Sacramento. That’s pretty darn hot, too hot for me. The boys and I will be home until Sunday am about this same time (5:20) when Jag leaves for Texas. Then as I’ve been saying, I’m off Monday am for Seattle. Mojo is going to doggie daycare for one day. It’s a fun place with lots of playtime and a big yard, hope he wants to come home!

Time to run so I can get Lori’s boarding pass printed out and see how long the security lines are. Have a good day and weekend. GB

Been trying to get to Denver

For a few days now I’ve been trying to get down the hill. Tomorrow Lori goes for sure as she’s off to CA. I hope to get down too but with my sales meeting next week, things are up in the air. It’s getting warm up here which is nice. Last night Lori wasn’t home until after 9pm as the clinic brought in one of the pilots from the Blue Angels for a motivational speech. I guess it was pretty good. It’s now 5:50 and I could use a motivational speech myself as I’m pretty tired. Guess I’ll run, GB

A blur

We’re so busy that we’ve lost track of what day it is. I think the 3 day weekend threw us off. Not sure what’s going on today, I have lots of work to do before my week long meeting in Seattle next week that I haven’t even really started on. Now that the month of May is in the books, I need to get started on that. I thought I was going to the city today but it’ll most likely be tomorrow.

Jag had a blast out at the ranch and was gone from 9am until 5pm. Ty played with Sonny until I took him home around 5 in the afternoon. We have 5 Bocelli concerts starting today in Seattle and ending in Chicago later next week. I sent everyone their tickets yesterday via Fed Ex and noticed I never received the ones for the Hollywood Bowl in California. Apparently they were emailed to me but I never saw them. Thankfully I noticed so they can resend them.

I need to run to book a rental car for Lori for her trip to Sacramento this weekend for Grandpa Jim’s memorial service. Hope it’s a good celebration of life which I’m sure it will be as Jim had lots and lots of friends. Well be thinking of you Grandma Annette and wish we could be there with you. We hear it’s going to be hot, like 108 degrees! That’s too hot.

June 1st, hard to believe. Summer is almost here. God Bless
