Anniversary Eve

Tomorrow is our anniversary, 22 beautiful, blissful, lovey dovey years! Jag and I are off to Denver at 6:00 this morning. We’re dropping Ty at practice at 6:30 am. Hope to be back early afternoon. Lori is taking Dixie to the dentist and then to work. Ty has school. Jag and I went shooting yesterday, or should I say Jag went shooting and I watched, ha. He’s getting really good. We grabbed some lunch after that and then he went to workout.

Getting warm up here, whoo hoo! Going to be a really nice weekend. Good timing for Serena. Time to go, busy day, God Bless.

Thanks Annette!

4:23 in the afternoon and Annette just texted asking what happened to the blog today! Well, I had a 7am workout and was going to do it when I got home but obviously forgot. Then I took Ty to school and then Jag and I hit the range for more training, and then went for lunch and we just made it home. Busy day.

Lori is in Frisco and will be home around 6:30 or 7. Tomorrow Jag and I are in Denver leaving early around 6:15am. Should be back by 1 or 2. Not much else going on. Getting warm up here. Serena arrives Saturday and we’re having a bbq. More tomorrow, God Bless.

Denver

Quick trip today. My phone is messed up and the alarm isn’t working so I overslept again today. Lori is messing with it right now as she can fix just about anything. We went to dinner last night at The Rose for a salad while Ty had lacrosse. Then we stopped to see Dixie on the way home. Tommy says Shelly is doing much better and is in a regular room at the hospital now. Her birthday is this Friday, same day as our anniversary.

Biden now says the economy is great! I guess we can all relax and not worry, ha. What a joke this guy is, enough said. Hope his kid gets what he deserves too. What a loser. Hard to believe this family is in power. Makes me sick, God Bless.

No snow

Nothing up here, a little cloudy but all good. Lori and Jag went to see the movie Batman last night while Ty and I stayed home. The boys and I did some more shooting yesterday. They’re becoming pretty efficient with pistols and rifles. Both are loving it and having a great time. Good for them to do something together and they’re learning a lifelong skill the right way with professional training.

We all went to see Dixie yesterday as she really wanted to see the boys. She was doing ten times better than the day before now that she’s on an antibiotic. I think Shelly is doing much better too.

Our anniversary is this Friday and Serena arrives Saturday. Not sure what we’ll do if anything. Hope the snow continues to miss us. We might end up with an inch or two, but it doesn’t look like a foot as they predicted yesterday. I’m tired of shoveling, ha.

Time to go, be well, stay safe and God Bless.

Spring is here!

Yea! Springtime in the Rockies! Of course we’re getting a little snow tonight but not much. Hopefully the big storms are well gone until the Fall.

Yesterday was a whirlwind. Lori went to Denver to get her hair done while I took the boys to the range to go shooting. My Army buddy who is still an active Group 19 guy (Green Beret) showed up to train them right. We’re going back today to continue their education on pistols and then move to rifles. It’s really important to have a professional teaching them all the details in the beginning.

After we all made it home, Dixie’s caretaker called as her blood pressure was abnormally low and she looked really pale. We told them to call 911 and we all headed down to her place. After meeting the paramedics there and checking Dixie out, Lori made the call to have them take her to the hospital as a precaution. Jag then went to the gym, Ty to Edwards and Lori to the hospital. She had me stay home until she knew what was going on. Turns out after labs and an EKG and other tests, she had a urinary tract infection which causes all the issues she had. So by 6:30, Dixie was back at her place safe and sound.

Today we’re off to the gym and then back to the range as I said, around noon. We were doing sushi and a movie last night before the Dixie debacle. Not sure about tonight. Serena comes next week for a visit! Lori can’t wait and of course, we’re excited too. Weather looks like it’ll be in the 70’s, good timing. That’s almost warm enough for Annette! God Bless.

Jag’s home!

Last night around 9, Jag pulled in. He’s off next week so he’s hanging out with us for a while. Ty and his team beat Steamboat and I had a good day shooting. Lori is off to get her hair done in Denver and then tonight I think we’re all going to dinner and then the hockey game. Oh and the Rolling Stones are touring. So far just in Europe. Waiting to see if they announce some U.S. dates as that’d be much easier to get to.

Jag and I are going shooting this morning. We’ll see if Ty wants to come. Not sure what we’ll do the rest of the day. Hard to tell, but from what Tommy knows, Shelly might be making progress. Hope so.

Time for coffee. Enjoy your Saturday, God Bless.

Spring Break

Today Jag starts his weeklong break. He’s coming up for a few days. We wanted to go somewhere but with Ty in the thick of things and our work, it doesn’t look promising. We’ll figure something out and do something. Ty has a game tonight at 4 against Steamboat.

Big news! Lori and I are going to golf this year. We thought we’d give it a try to do something different together. Should be fun and funny.

A bunch of us are going to the range today. I went yesterday too. We’d like to get Lori a massage for her neck somewhere if we could.

Shelly is not doing so well. Tommy said they tried to take her off medication and she didn’t handle it well. Nobody is quite sure what happened to her. Hope she can somehow snap out of it. Tom said they have her strapped to her bed and wearing padded boxing gloves? Wish we were closer. Saying prayers for her daily.

Time to go, make it a great day, God Bless.

St. Patrick’s Day

Break out your green! I don’t have a lot of green clothes. Not sure a lot of people do. Yesterday I skipped Denver and went to Costco instead. There was a fatal accident on I-70 so the lacrosse game in Aspen was cancelled as you couldn’t get there. I think we have a home game tomorrow. The boys did have practice and they were cold as it was coming down hard up here from about 6 until 8. Then it pretty much stopped. It was a wet Spring storm with the snow full of water. Super hard to drive home from getting Ty as it was like an old Star Trek movie when they go into hyper drive and the stars are all flying by you. You couldn’t turn on your bright lights as then you couldn’t see at all.

Mexico is a no go for Ty for Spring Break. He’s bummed but handled it pretty well. I expect some more lobbying but it’s just not a good time to travel international, especially to Mexico. We do need to go visit a college or two and find him some kind of car.

Big day yesterday for football. Lots of movement around the NFL. Fun stuff if you’re into football. James and I watched some on tv. Jag is doing well. I’m hooking him up with a few people to get him an internship this summer. Have a long-awaited rifle arriving today too. Can’t wait. Think I’m at the range today weather permitting.

Everything you see is leading to shortages. Even Costco has some holes on the shelves. You know my position on this, ha. That’s it. time to move and groove. Ty needs to be at school by 8:30. God Bless.

One more time?

Ugh, I really should make one more run down to Boulder today to introduce my guy Tom to one of the top accounts in the State. I’m on the fence as another 4 or 5 hours of driving is a lot. I did get the oil changed yesterday and had lunch with Tommy, but it was still a long drive. I do need to buy about 20 or 30 pounds of pasta today. We don’t eat a lot but I’m worried about food rationing in the coming months and Ty can eat it every day if he has to. Thank God we have the farm down in Grand Junction. We’re still looking for three or four pallets of mason jars.

Ty has a lacrosse game in Aspen today and another on Friday. I need to start looking for a good used car. He wants to go to Mexico with 16 kids and two parents for Spring Break, but I don’t know if we can get his passport renewed by then. I’m also not to big on my kid going to Mexico with everything going on in the World right now. He’ll be bummed but it is what it is.

I’m at the range tomorrow and Friday. Lori works in Vail today and then is home tomorrow and Friday. Jag’s Spring Break is next week but with both boys not having time off at the same time, it’s hard to take a major trip. We’ll see. Time to go. Don’t become complacent or numb to what’s going on overseas. I’m not saying to panic but like a good Boy Scout, be prepared.

God Bless.

One more time!

Deja vu, Groundhog Day, or maybe just the same old thing! Yup, I’m off to Denver again. We have a big event going on down there today, tomorrow and Thursday. Looks like today though is the only day I’ll need to go. Tom, who is here from California, is working Denver today, Boulder tomorrow and Colorado Springs Thursday.

Lots of weather moving through every few days. Good news is it’s quick and not very bad. Ty has a lacrosse game in Aspen tomorrow and of course it’s supposed to snow a bit.

Biden is such an idiot. I hope all those that voted for him are feeling the full wrath of his policies and decisions. May God help us avoid a nuclear war. I’m beginning to have doubts. All it takes is one wrong move. No matter what, food shortages are coming. Mark my words. Time to get prepared. The ramifications of all this is going to hurt. Things are not going back to normal anytime soon. Get ready.

Time to get moving. Harley was up at 5:15 as she wanted out. That’s it, be well, stay safe and God Bless.
