May!

Hard to believe it’s May! Of course, today, we could get an inch of snow, ha. That’s ok though as we’ll take all the moisture we can get. Soon it’ll be hot and dry. Wolves are running wild up here. The voters in Denver voted to reintroduce them to the State as they’re so cute, (sarcasm). So far six cows have been killed around here and now, before the State allows the ranchers to protect their stock, by shooting them, they’re hiring nighttime riders, (guys on horses) to try to scare them away. Like that’ll work, (more sarcasm). Another example of how stupid voters really are. Wolves are here in Eagle and even have been found down in Castle Rock south of Denver. As soon as some democrat’s little dog goes missing, then it’ll be a national emergency. Fyi, calves are worth about $2000 to ranchers, cows up to $4K, which is a lot of money to them, and the State doesn’t reimburse anyone for any calf or cow killed by a wolf that they brought in. Wolves are the only predator that kills for sport, nice.

Ok that’s my rant for the day. We could do a segment called something like, The Gov’s Stupid Move of the Day. Might be a tv show in there somewhere.

Lori is off to Frisco and I’m running over to Aspen. Boys are well and busy. Three more days until Lori’s bday! Marty called from Tahiti. Guess it’s pretty amazing but way different than expected. Super expensive he said. It’s 2500 miles south of Hawaii! Not much to do but hang out. They’re gone another week as they went down to see their kid Max who has been sailing the World on Seamester. It’s a huge sailboat where kids get school credit for sailing. He arrives in a couple days.

7:20 and Lori just left for Frisco. Time for me to get moving too. Have a great day, God Bless.

Big Win

Tough game, for the Nuggets and for Lori and I. It’s hard to stay up until 11! We won but have a few guys hurt and need to play way better, or we’ll lose to Minnesota.

Lori and I made it to Denver to have her ear stitched up. They cut the whole ear to get to fresh tissue and then sewed the whole thing up. She’ll take her stitches out next Wednesday. It was nice in Denver and kind of cool up here but no snow. I hope we’re done with that.

Jag is in the middle of finals. Ty is working away. Last day of the month for me so I’ll be working to get in all the April orders. Lor is in Vail today and Frisco tomorrow.

Lori’s birthday is in a few days! She doesn’t want anything, but we’ll see. Jag will be in Boulder, but Ty will be here.

That’s it, time to get moving. Make it a great day and God Bless.

On the Road Again

At 6:15 this morning Lori and I are off to Denver. She has a 9am appointment to have her ear stitched up where the hole is too big for her earrings. I’m running a couple errands while she has her 90 minute appointment. Jag has a big 10 days coming up with finals. Ty might be golfing in Denver today, not sure of his plans.

We hope to be back by 1 at the latest, hopefully earlier. The big news from yesterday is Lori and I cleaned our closets! That was a huge job. We’re committed to keeping them clean. Tom was thinking I was going to say the Av’s won! That too was big news.

Nice day yesterday, supposedly nicer today and tomorrow. That’s it, time to get on the road, God Bless.

Up early. Lori has been waking up between 5 and 5:30 every day. I’m usually up around that time, but I like to be the one that wakes up first. It throws me off when she wakes up first!

Bad game last night but good day for the Broncos. The winning streak was going to come to an end sometime. Hopefully the Nuggets can close it out tomorrow night. Good day for football though. We got a lot of good guys.

A little rain/snow mix up here in the morning but nothing that stuck to the ground. Hopefully we’re getting close to the end of this pattern.

Not sure what we’re doing today. Maybe we’ll go to the movies. That’s it, have a great day and God Bless.

Just a little

We had some rain last night, but nothing like they’re getting in Denver. It’s a bit cloudy outside right now, but that’s it. It looks cold, wet and dreary in Denver, on the news. I ran down to Grand Junction yesterday morning after the gym to meet my buddy. I was out of here at 10 and back by 1:15 which is really good time. It’s not a bad drive as there are no mountains to go over.

I’m about a week in to having zero sugar and zero carbs. Seems to be a really good fit for me. Today we’ll be hanging out around the house. The Nuggets are on tonight and last night the Av’s powered out in the third period to win. Here in Colorado, we’ve been on a roll sport wise. Denver though, is pretty much screwed with all the illegals and crime. Something is going to give pretty soon, mark my words. Best thing to do is get ready. I’ve banged this drum before, so I won’t go into details.

Jag has two weeks left of school. Ty is working hard and a week from today is Lori’s 60th birthday! Her new Bad Birdie golf bag arrived a few days ago which she just loves. It was a collaboration between two companies and basically unobtainable, but I won an auction on Ebay. It’s been too wet, and we’ve been too busy to get to the range. Hopefully next week.

That’s it, time to move and groove. Have a great Saturday and God Bless.

Great game

As usual, we started out slow, but then over the course of the game, gained momentum and won in the end. I sort of feel bad for the Lakers as they must see it coming and know there’s nothing they can do to stop it. I think the Nuggets have beat the Lakers like 11 times in a row! Good times if you’re a Denver fan.

I made a quick turn to Denver yesterday and was back by 11:30am. Lori is still trying to kick her cold. No rain or anything up here. They say Denver and some of the mountains are going to get some snow, we’ll see.

Ty is paying off his car today! What an accomplishment! Congrats!

Time to get moving, we’re headed to the gym today. Enjoy the day and the weekend, GB.

Finally!

Today is the long-anticipated NFL Draft! Whoo hoo! We also get game 3 of the Nuggets Lakers. Busy day. Lori is sick and taking a Z-Pak trying to get better. She came home with a cold last night. I think I’ll BBQ chicken tonight for the big evening.

Ty works again today. He received his tax refund yesterday direct deposit into his account. That was not anticipated and quick. Good timing for him as he had a big week with the game and stuff. I can’t remember the last time I got a refund.

I got a haircut yesterday and was back home around noon. Have a bunch of calls today to get ready to close the month. That’s about it, time to go, have a great Thursday and Go Broncos and Go Nuggets! Tomorrow it’s Go Av’s! God Bless.

Denver

Headed out at 7 this morning. Hope to be back by noon. Lori is in Vail today and Ty is back at work. It’ll be in the 70’s today but rain is coming in for the weekend. Jag is studying away and only has a couple weeks of school left.

Not much else going on other than the same old crap. Things are coming to an inflection point. We’re getting to the point where people can’t afford to survive anymore. Of course, the gov’s solution is to pass more laws. Not sure how people with 9 to 5 jobs make it these days.

5:39am now, time to get moving, GB

What a game

Last night was a game that’ll go down in history, at least in Denver. We played horrible most of the game but erased a 20-point deficit and came back to win on a jumper with no time left on the clock. The best thing was Ty was there! He Face Timed me for the last minute or so and the place was going crazy! It was a late game that started at 8:10, but I knew better than to give up on them, no matter how far we’re down, and go to sleep. It was one of those moments that if you saw it, you’ll never forget it. Go Nuggets.

Yesterday we finished up with the paint job inside the house. They did an incredible job, and it looks better now than when it was a brand-new house. Also had the sprinklers turned on. I met up with Mark and Andres to hang out for a bit around 4. Mark has been in and out of town for the past month and has to go to Seattle to move his daughter into a new apartment on Thursday. Good to see him.

Lori was home early for her; I think around 5. Today she’s in Edwards. Ty will drive up this morning from Denver. I’m headed to the gym and will probably go hit some balls today. For now, that’s it, time to get going, 6:33am. God Bless.

Back at it

Here we go, another week. The last full week of April! Hopefully all the slush and wet snow are gone for the season. It was warm up here yesterday and it looks like a warm week ahead.

Ty is going to the Nuggets game tonight, fun. Our painters will finish up today and our landscapers are coming by at 3 to turn on the sprinklers. Lori is working in Vail today and I’ll be working around the house.

Yesterday we went walked Harley a couple miles, then went to the gym and then went to the range to hit a bucket of balls. Lori did a bunch of work on picture books for her mom’s service in the afternoon and I watched the crazy hockey game.

Lots of useless laws being proposed by the govt., locally and nationally. The main issue is they think they can legislate problems away. That never works. Just turn on the news.

The big news of the day is Tommy is going to the Rolling Stones concert with all of us on June 2oth! Jeff and Tina want to sit with us, so Tommy and his buddy John are buying Jeff and Tina’s tickets at Club Level. It’ll be a blast and a once in a lifetime experience. We’re really happy he’s going.

That’s it for today. Get outside in the nice weather if you can. God Bless.
