Actually I’m shocked. I had no idea how much curb appeal new garage doors would add to our house. They look so good that they probably added $50,000 to the value of our home. That might be stretching it a bit but that’s how good they look! It took the guy from 2:30 until 7:30 to take out the old doors and install the new. Glad we did it.
Today I have company in town and we’ll work from 11 to 4 or so. Then tomorrow another guy arrives and the three of us will work all day. On top of that I need to get some work done on the phone as well. Meanwhile Mom needs to go unload the Suburban that’s still filled up with props from the school dance.
Things are sort of drying out around here but have a long way to go. In lots of places you can’t flush your toilets or take showers but we lucked out this time.
