Jag and I headed out around 12:45 for the game. We picked up his friend Max and dad Mark (the Harris’s) and made it to the stadium a little after 1. It didn’t seem all that cold when we were getting out of the warm car, duh. Anyhow we bundled up and made it to our seats a little after 1:30. By kickoff at 2:05, it was cold. I did bring hand warmers and put one each in Jag’s snow boots. The toughest thing when it’s cold is just sitting still. You need to move to stay warm. The game started out with us trailing by 21 to 10 sometime in the 2nd quarter but no worries, this happens sometimes. By halftime it was 21 to 20 with us down a point after a NFL record setting field goal of 64 yards to close out the half. We always defer so we would get the ball at the start of the 3rd quarter. From there on, we never looked back and won 51 to 28. At half time we went down to the concourse and just walking around warmed everyone up. This was a good thing as the temperatures were dropping every minute. We made it home a little before 6 and everyone had a blast. It’s one of those days and games that hopefully the boys will remember for the rest of their lives. I know I will.
Lori took Ty sledding at school for a little bit and then he played across the street with Ben for the rest of the day. This week we have lots to do. We’re a bit overwhelmed with some issues but I’ll leave it at that. Let’s just say we’re praying for some divine intervention. Lacey woke me at 5:15 but thankfully there was no mess in the kitchen.
We haven’t even thought about Christmas, we have to figure out how to buy the boys a few things even though Lori and I are abstaining for each other. Our annual party is the 20th which will be here before you we know it, time sure flies.
Not sure what the misses has going on today. I have lots of computer work and might need to make a run up to Vail tomorrow. Looks like I’m advancing to the Championship round in both my fantasy football leagues, wow. If I can just wine two more games, I’ll be the champ!
Jag wants up at 6 which it is now so time to go. Hope everyone is well, take care and God Bless.
