Last night, or should I say this morning, a little after midnight, I picked Jag up at school. As the bus pulled up, tired parents got out of their cars to greet their kids. It was like a scene out of a movie with kids streaming out of the bus under a moonlit sky, searching for their parents. You could tell all the kids were tired as it was 2:09 east coast time where they came from. They stumbled around like zombies in a fog looking for their luggage. All were glad to be home and all parents were glad they were home.
A little after 12:30am we pulled into the parking lot at home. Lori came down once she heard me come up and knew her oldest was home. It seemed like Jag was a couple years older in only a week! Today the entire 8th grade is off as the kids, and I’m sure teachers, are too tired. I was headed to Denver but with their snow and rain (it’s clear up here!) I think I’ll wait until Thursday.
Lori and I are up as both boys sleep. Jag said he’s going to get up to see Ty and then go back to sleep. I have plenty of computer work to catch up on so it’s probably best I postpone my trip to Denver for a couple days. That’s it from the mountains, hope all’s well and God Bless.
