It’s 4:49am at home and I’ve been in the air for about 30 minutes. I should land in Denver around 9am or so. It was a successful trip to New York as all my trips usually are as fortunately I’m pretty good at what I do. Getting the deal done though is the easy part as now working through all the details is the real work. Thankfully I have a bunch of people that work for us that can do just that.
I landed about 2pm and after dropping my bag at the hotel, headed into the city. By 3, I was in my meeting and finished up by 4:30. Then Lorenzo and Pier, a winemaker from Italy I’ve known for 15 years, joined us for dinner. I managed to get to my hotel by about 9 and headed straight for bed as I needed to wake up at 4 which is 2am Denver time.
Yesterday Ty had his science fair and Jag played his last basketball game of the season. Lori worked long and hard as usual and all are still sleeping. I’ll hopefully be home by noon as I have some samples from France arriving Fed Ex.
My Mom had a good birthday so she said. We’ll see her Saturday and I ordered up her favorite coconut banana cream pie from a caterer up here in Vail.
That’s about it, hope everyone is well, GB
