The night before last Ali lost her Mom Jackie. We’re all so sorry for her and understand what she’s going through. Prayers to her and the rest of her family. As we know from experience, it doesn’t matter how old someone is or how sick they are, when they finally go to the big playground in the sky, it still hurts. God Bless Al and her Mom.
Today I need to drive down to meet the people picking up the piano. This is my third trip down to sell this damn thing. I’ll easily have spent $200 in gas alone, not counting my time, to get rid of this thing. Who knew it’d be so tough to sell a piano! I asked Tom to go up there as we only need someone to let the movers in and collect the cash but when I did I forgot about Al. In any case, no big, it’s more important that Tom is with Ali.
Both boys have physicals at school this morning for Fall sports so it’ll be a tight morning with me having to run to Mom’s. I thought Jag could drive himself but a parent needs to sign and I think Lori has some VIP patient. We’ll work it out somehow.
I was down and up yesterday. After sitting on I-25 I know why we moved up here. Traffic was terrible and it took me at least a couple hours longer than it should have. The boys actually cleaned their rooms probably the best they ever had. I put them on notice that they had to take responsibility and do it themselves and low and behold, they did! They then went swimming around 5 pm.
That’s it as I need to get moving. Hope all’s well, GB.
