Looks like things will be getting worse. In the stores and with people getting sick. If you combine the flu and other winter type colds with covid, a lot of people will be feeling crummy this Fall and every case will be labeled covid. Up here a teacher at Ty’s high school has it and the hockey team in Summit does too. We received an email saying kids in proximity to the teacher should stay home until November 3rd but then goes on to say that others should carry on as normal. So in typical bureaucratic fashion we’re thoroughly confused as what to do. We received the email but it doesn’t say what Ty should do. We texted the Principal last night and just received a text saying Ty should go to school, so there you have it.
The stores are running out of things. Certain kinds of groceries, cleaners, Lysol wipes and more seem to be disappearing. Here we go again. On the fire front, the fire in Grand County over by Granby, blew up yesterday afternoon. The cloud of white smoke looked like a nuclear bomb went off. They say it burned 6000 acres per hour. Not good. We think and hope we’re getting snow this weekend. We sure need it.
I know a lot of people that think Trump will win but I’m not so sure. I pray we get Amy Coney Barrett on the Court and that the Senate stays in Republican hands. That way if wacko Biden wins, there will be at least some check on his socialist agenda. Who are we kidding, he’s so old, he’s not in charge, even of himself. That’s the problem. God help us. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
