Back on the mountain

Ty and some buddies are headed to the mountain this morning. It’ll only be his second day boarding this year. He’s finally all healed up and excited to go. After we drop him Lori and I will head to the gym.

Yesterday morning we drove to the Eagle County Fairgrounds at 9 am for the drive up clinic for the J&J vaccine. They had it figured out pretty well as you’d drive into a lane in one side of the large building and while staying in your car, you’d fill out some paperwork and then pull up another 10 feet where a RN would give you the shot. Then you’d pull out the other side and stay in a lane with a bunch of other cars until 15 minutes was up and then they’d let you go. When you pulled in they put a Post It on your windshield with a time that was 15 minutes after your shot. The shot itself you could feel and it seemed like it took forever for it to get in. Must have been a pretty good dose of whatever. Lori said “ok, you’ve now been microchipped” , ha.

No side effects for me so far, knock on wood. I’m not really even sore in my arm where I had the shot. I can see a little red dot where they stuck the needle in but that’s it. Hopefully I’m past the point of side effects.

Jag called yesterday and needed some more cigarettes to hand out to any frat brother that asks him for one. It’s not good if he doesn’t have any. I told him to call Tommy as he can’t buy them in Boulder being under 21.

It was warm yesterday and more warm weather is coming. Looks like we’ll be in the 60’s until the middle of next week. That’s good news! Time to get everyone moving. I fed the dogs and now it’s time for coffee. Be well and God Bless.
