Happy Easter! He is Risen. That’s the greeting Christians all around the World greet each other with today. I think you know what it means, if not, google it, ha.
Nice and warm up here. Ty was at the skate park after setting up his new deck (skate board top) that Jagger gave him for his birthday. Lori did manage to get her nails done and I was at the fly fishing shop with JT and Emily going through my gear making sure it’s good to go. Ty and I are going on a float trip the week after we’re back from Sacramento. Hope Jag can get up too after his fraternity ceremony on the 18th. I’d love for both boys to get into it.
Lee and Margaret (our cousins) invited us over for dinner this afternoon but we passed. We’d rather be in the sun and we’re watching what we eat trying to get in shape. It’s been a tough year, even if you’re the type that rolls with the punches. The change in our lives, masks, restrictions, the struggling economy, Lori switching jobs, the school situation, etc., all adds up. I think everyone aged probably 5 years in a year, no matter who you are. We need to get back to our normal way of life and living. Most everyone I run into or know is ready to ditch the mask. Half or more of the people out there wear cloth masks which don’t work anyhow. Time to just take them off.
I need to get everyone’s passports updated as we’re thinking of going to Costa Rica in June. Friends have a beautiful house right on the beach on the Pacific side we can use and United now has a direct flight, fun.
Mojo is having a hard time walking, a bit harder than usual. His back end is almost skin and bones as he’s lost most of his hair. He’s still a two year old though in his mind. Harley is a two year old and acts like it everyday. She plays with her toys, chews them up and runs and bounces around and is just having fun every minute of the day. Oh to be two!
Happy Easter, remember Christ died for your sins, be thankful and may God Bless you.
