What a week. I’m supposed to go to Grand Junction this morning to pick up some beef but am postponing the trip. 45 degrees here this morning and 30 in Leadville! Fall is in the air. Jag needs his cowboy boots, hippie clothes and other stuff. I think for his frat. Ty has his homecoming football game at Battle Mountain tonight and Lori is bringing her mom up for dinner. I have a new shotgun arriving today. I traded off some guns a while ago to get this as bird season is just starting. I think Tom is going to look at a Porsche 911 today! Great choice. Not sure if he’ll pull the trigger but I’m praying he does. He’d have a ton of fun and he deserves it.
99 days until Christmas, what! That means 103 until my birthday and 105 until 2022, hmmm. Lori is still sleeping and Harley just had breakfast. Ty has a ride to school so maybe we’ll go to the gym.
The Country is falling apart before our eyes. Mostly due to the current administration. If you knew that less than 9000 people out of a million would die of covid, would you have done things different? Sadly more than that are dying from suicide and they’re mostly kids! What have we done. I don’t think history is going to look back on us very kindly. With all the advancements we have, we still cannot mentally deal with each other. How can a bunch of 80 year old plus, out of touch people be making decisions for 330 million of us. Sadly I no longer believe or trust the government on anything. It’s like they’re sitting there playing a game that’s a combination of Risk and Monopoly with all of us and our lives and every move affects everyone but them. What have we done. Mark my words, a big reset is coming and I wouldn’t want to be one of them.
