We had a nice, uneventful anniversary. After the gym, we messed around the house and then later in the day, decided to go to Glenwood to get the boys new bedding for their rooms. After a 2-hour delay in Eagle and another hour and 20 minutes in Denver, Ty finally made it to Bozeman. We’re sure he’s having fun with his buddies.
We woke up to big time wet snow. It was one of those, as advertised Spring snows with a ton of water. By the time we got out of the gym, the roads were already dried off.
Lori is in Edwards today and I’ll run some errands. We’re excited for the kids to all be here for Easter. Looks like 70 degrees in Denver this weekend so it should be nice up here too.
Think we’ll have lamb for Easter dinner. Lori has been searching the internet for some new recipes to try.
6:19 now, the moon has been bright at night. We missed the eclipse as it was snowing that day. There was also a large geo-magnetic storm (G4) that hit us on the 24th into the 25th. Here in Colorado we were not directly in its path but those storms can cause issue with the electrical grid. The northern lights were extra bright due to the crack in the magnetic field surrounding the earth from the storm. It would be devastating if we have another event like the Carrington Event in the late 1800’s. Everything electrical would stop working. The internet, all cars made after about 1972, phones, planes, anything that uses electricity. No matter how you try to imagine what it’d be like, it’d be worse. Hope that doesn’t happen, right?
Well, that’s it, time to go, have a great day and may God Bless and watch over you.
