He Is Risen

Happy Easter, today is the holiest day in all of Christianity. If you’re not sure of what I mean by the title of today’s post, look it up. Christians all over the World will greet each other with He Is Risen.

Ok, when I first heard this, I thought it was fake news, as it’s just too outlandish to actually be true. But no, it’s 100% fact. Sadly, yesterday, our President decided to declare today Transgender Day of Visibility. So so sad. They are literally mocking us. They hate you, hate God and want to destroy western civilization and Christianity. It’s like they’re some sort of cult. You can’t make this stuff up. People have stood by and watched this administration do a lot of things, but this is the worst. I’m ok with recognizing or even honoring any group of people, but why would they do it on the holiest of days for any religion? Because they don’t care, they want to provoke you. All I can say is I’ll pray for them. It’s so sad that this even has to be discussed or that I desecrated today by including it in today’s post. But it has to be said. And here’s the kicker, they banned any Easter egg from the National Guards Easter Egg Contest for kids that has any religious theme, like a cross on it, wow. I’m sure they’d be ok with an egg with the devil on it as they’d call it free speech or freedom of religion. CNN or any other liberal media isn’t mentioning this. They’re covering for the White House as they always do. If they’re so proud of this, why don’t they have it front and center? Because even they know, this is wrong. This will be remembered in history.

Now on to the day, last night we had a really nice Easter dinner. Lori made lamb shanks, grits and a bunch of sides including homemade ice cream for dessert. Ty works at 7 this morning and just left and Jag and Ava will head down later morning.

I met up with Clark yesterday to watch the CU women’s game. We were outplayed but good for them for getting this far. Great to have both boys and Ava here. They all had a fun time over Spring break. It was fun hearing all the stories.

Robi and Robert are going to church this morning, good for them. Then they’re having homemade macaroons and I think she said, Jello shots, ha. Tom is having a bunch of people over for honey baked ham and other stuff. Glad he has company, and we’ll be here at the house. Here’s a few pics of Lori’s great dinner, yum.

That’s it, fight the good fight, thank God for his only son and take joy in the fact that He Is Risen, May God Bless and save us all! Happy Easter.
