National Seniors Day

Well, who knew there was a day dedicated to those of us over 65 years old. Guess Robi, Bobby, Annette, Jean and I should celebrate. Tom, you have to wait until next year, bwaaaah.

Yesterday it was smokey. The Derby Fire has blown up to about 1800 acres as of last night with zero containment. They’re evacuating up near Sweetwater where James’s ranch is. Matt at the gun shop, who lives up there, said he thinks James’s place is ok, for now. I have my garage doors open right now to cool it down in there. It’ll be in the mid 90’s today and I have the garage down to about 70.

Lori and I are out of here around 7:30. We’ll see Jag after going to the dermatologist and the mall. Jag had dinner with my friend last night who sold his wealth management company for beaucoup bucks. Jag might be getting an offer from them soon. Hopefully Jag is picking between multiple offers. John was the President of Rolling Hills Country Club back in the day. He’s also good friends with the Coors family. You might remember, he was close friends with our buddy Eric Shirley, who sadly took his own life a few years ago. Eric’s dad was the CFO for Microsoft. We still miss Eric a bunch.

Ty works today at 9. Yesterday I wrapped up our internal sales plan for the company owned brands. Once the team does their part, we’ll incorporate the data into the sales plans for the Producers. Luisa and I mapped out the details of our Italy trip yesterday too. Lots of moving around but should be a good time.

6:20am now and my battery is about to die on the computer so time to go. Have a great Thursday and God Bless.
