No one gave us a chance. We were 2.5-point underdogs at home, and we had 2 more wins than the visiting Green Bay Packers. But in the end, as we’ve done all year, we came out on top. This morning the Denver Broncos sit alone at the top of the NFL with 12 wins. In fact, we’re 4 plays away from being undefeated. It was a great game, and a great day to be a Bronco fan! The national tv shows are still showing little love to the Broncos, which is typical. But that’s ok, we’ll keep playing the role of underdog. After the game, a sideline reporter asked our quarterback what he thought about us being 2.5 underdogs against the Packers, and he replied saying, I guess we’re overdogs! Classic.
Ty and I watched the second half together as he and his buddies were out the night before (I think they pulled an all nighter) and he slept through the first half. We then watched the Dallas game too. Lori was watching some chick flick in the bedroom.
Yesterday we both went to the gym in the morning. Lori feels fine this morning and will be off to work in an hour or so. I have a lot of calls before my 10am conference call. I just finished a 6am call with my Partner in Atlanta and tried to reach a producer in France. After my call at 10, I have one more and then am done for the day, except for a lot of computer work.
I did wrap most of Lori’s presents yesterday. I have a few more to wrap up today! (see how I did that, ha)
Jagger’s birthday is Wednesday! 24 years old, wow. They had a blast at the game yesterday. I think I’m going down to have lunch with him for his birthday.
Have a great day! Enjoy the season while it’s here, God Bless and Go Broncos!
