So far, so good. The month of February seems to be off to a good start. I implemented a new monetary policy at work regarding the euro dollar exchange rate which everyone, so far, seems to accept. Jag’s first day on the job was great and Lori and Ty are doing well, as usual, at work.
Ava flies out to Chicago I think Thursday. Her mom, Julie, rented the kids an Airbnb in Lincoln Park, starting Saturday, for the next 2 months! This gives them time to learn the area and take their time finding the right place to live. Yea Julie! Lori and I will drive down early tomorrow to Denver to meet Julie and Ava and load up some more stuff from the apartment.
Ty is flying to Santa Barbara California Friday morning to visit his buddy Ryker who is a senior in school at UCSB. Ty is checking out places he’d like to move to, and Santa Barbara is one of them. He’ll fly back Monday. We got him a ticket out of Eagle so it’s an easy trip.
We’ll fly out to Chicago probably the week after next or around the 20th. By the time we get back on the 23rd or so, February will almost be over. Told you it was a short month!
This morning, I have a call at 7 with Italy and another at 8, to present the new monetary policy I mentioned. So far, everyone has agreed. The two guys today will be two of the tougher conversations, but it saves me hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. The euro has just gone too crazy for us to shoulder the entire burden of the exchange rate.
5:49am now. That’s it for the day. Hope everyone is well, stay safe and God Bless.
