We were in Denver by 8:45am and showed up right when two movers Julie hired, showed up. They helped carry everything out of the apartment and down to Ava’s car and my truck. Lori and I were then on the road by 10am and home around 12:30. I unloaded the truck while Lori made us breakfast. I took some stuff upstairs but left a lot downstairs as we need to go through it, purge and throw away some stuff. No point in taking things up, only to have to take them back down.
Tomorrow I’ll have Ava drive Jag’s car out to the Chevy dealer to meet me and then I’ll take her back to her hotel. She flies to Chicago Saturday. We’re so excited for the two of them.
At 3, Lori and I went to see Emily, the audiologist, or hearing doctor. She adjusted my aids which now work much better and Lori had her hearing test. She supposedly doesn’t need hearing aids just yet, WHAT, but does have asymmetrical hearing meaning one ear, her left, is not as strong as her right. Today at 1:20, she’ll see Dr. Seibert, my buddy and ENT specialist, before he takes off for the Olympics. Good to have connections as otherwise it’d take two or three months to get in to see him.
Ty’s off today and will fly to Santa Barbara tomorrow at 7am. We’re happy he’s getting out of the valley for a few days as he needs the break. He needs to get a couple of pair of shorts today.
I have a call at 8am so we’re going to get to the gym first. Looks like a warm weekend. Marty and Davy are coming over to watch the game with me Sunday as both Abbey and Melaine leave town Saturday.
That’s it, time to go, happy Thursday and God Bless.
