I know summer doesn’t officially start until June 21st, but when June rolls around, it’s pretty much recognized as summer. School is out and the crowds are back! The weather warms up too, although we’re loving this late Spring with on and off showers. The scary thing is in 90 days, it’ll be Labor Day and Fall will be right around the corner. Time flies.
Ty’s off to work and Lori is in the shower. I’m headed to the gym and then have a few calls to make this morning. I’d like to make a run to the dump but will probably do that tomorrow.
Ty was off early and did a remarkable job cleaning his room. I asked him why he just doesn’t keep it clean all the time, and he looked at me puzzled and said, “I don’t know, it just gets away from me”! Too funny, another Tyism. Reminds me of when he was little, maybe 6 or 7, and he came home from school and declared, and I quote, “from this day forward, I want to be known as Butt Saggington”! We’ll never forget that and still don’t know where he came up with that one. After he cleaned his room, he ran up valley to buy himself a new Garmin Smartwatch. I have one that’s probably 8 or 10 years old and he wants me to get one like his. Technology has come a long way!
