Hard to believe. In about 90 days, it’ll be September. Enjoy summer while you can.
I have a dentist appointment this morning at 10. Trying to decide whether or not to go to the gym before. Ty’s almost off to work and Lori is making him breakfast tacos. I think I’m going to start a new regimen today with my workouts. I need to switch things up to shock my body by doing something different. Maybe I’ll just do outside activities. Wednesday I have some minor surgery where I’m getting a cyst and a couple other bumps cut out of my chest. I’ve had them forever and Carl, (Libby’s husband who is also a dermatologist) squeezed me in early. Should be in and out in 30 minutes. Have to look good for the beach! Ha.
Jag’s place is coming together. Lori found a wood mantle for his fireplace, which is wood burning, that goes around it, on line for $50! It’s super cool. Think we have a table and chairs for $50 also. His neighborhood is so cool with two Michelin Star restaurants on each side of his building. We’re going to this cool tapas restaurant on Friday night. We fly out that morning at 7:40 and are staying at the Westin at the airport Thursday night. That way, we wake up and walk downstairs to security. We’re now flying back Sunday night at 6pm instead of getting up at 3am for a 6am Monday morning flight. I decided that was just too painful. We will land at 8:15 so with the drive home, we’ll get to the house around 11, but that’s better than getting up at 3. Good call Doug.
Marty came over yesterday for meatloaf and carrot cake. We hung out for a few hours and had fun. Mel comes home tomorrow. It’s been really nice up here and sunny too. Should be that way all week long.
