Sad

Yesterday Dolly Parton died. One of 11 kids who grew up poor, she was such a sweetheart and good person and will be missed. People born in the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, just seem to have a better outlook on life. I don’t want to say we’re better people, but those of us born in those years were raised in a different time, and in a different way, with different values, and no social media, which is probably the largest negative for the current generation. She was an icon and was always kind, and one of the best songwriters there ever was. Many don’t realize some of the songs made famous by others, were actually written by Dolly. Apparently, she had a brief battle with cancer. 80 years old. Not much older than most of us. Very sad.

I’m off to Denver hopefully in 30 minutes. Lori and Ty both work again today. I hope to be back by noon. Nice up here again. Temps are somewhere in the 80’s. Have a great day, take care, be well and stay safe, God Bless.
