Nice this morning. Fall is on the way. Haven’t see any snow up high yet, which is not a good sign. Years ago, when hunting over Labor Day, we’d usually run into a dusting up high.
Ty’s out the door to work and Lori is making her second cup of coffee. I ran down to Denver yesterday to the car dealer. They filled up my truck with diesel which was nice. I hit Edwards, meats for $400 bucks worth of the good stuff. I then stopped at High Country Western Wear for a few pair of new jeans, hit the cigar shop and made a quick stop at Jeff and Tina’s to see their new puppy!
I left by 11am or so and was doing well until I hit Evergreen where there was a truck hauling a giant shovel for a front loader that took up both lanes! The State Patrol was escorting the truck, which was so wide, no one could pass it. Thankfully they pulled over at the chain up station at Georgetown and I was able to get by.
When I made it home, I cleaned up the house, did some laundry and put dinner in the oven. Today we’re having dino ribs which are 8″ long beef ribs! I’ll put them in around 10:30 this morning and cook them low and slow. Good football and Fall food!
