That’s how long it is until Christmas! Between now and then we have Robi, Tom, Jagger’s, and Annette’s birthdays, and Halloween, Thanksgiving and a bunch of other festivities. Holly’s birthday, I think is Christmas Day and Billy has one in there too, right Robi? Harry, my long time childhood friend’s birthday is tomorrow. So, lots going on and not many days to cram it all in. Then we have the un-fun stuff like election day, finishing up the year at work, and other crap. Is what it is. We choose to focus on the fun stuff rather than the un-fun stuff! Won’t be long until Tom and Holly start putting up Christmas decorations which is the official start of the season!
Ty works at 8 today, Lori is still kicking her cold. I have more calls today and work to prep for meetings going on in Italy every day this week, and we need to get to the gym. It’s beautiful outside but too warm for October 8th. Super El Nino is here and should peak around the end of the year.
Last night we bought the Jackery battery powered backup system for the house as Amazon Prime Days had it on sale at its best price ever. We’ll have our electrician hook up a transfer switch and then if the power goes out, we just flick the switch. It’s not as good as Tom’s system but we can take it with us when we move, and it’ll keep things running for days. For an extended outage like weeks, we’d just pack up and go to Tom’s ha.
