Broncos Win

Wasn’t pretty, in fact on offense, it was downright ugly, but the Broncos win! I always say that no one remembers how you win but they always remember how you lose! Now we have about 11 days to fix Bo Nix. Still, we’re 4 and 2 after playing the toughest six game schedule in football. He needs some kind of sports psychologist as he’s nervous or lost his confidence. Still, we’re 4 and 2!

Ty’s off again today. Lori and I are going to the gym and then will do some stuff around the house.

I’m sure you’re all sick hearing about my workouts and what I eat, but here’s one more amazing fact. You can skip to the next paragraph if you want, ha. Here goes. So, my 140 biomarkers from my executive bloodwork all came back great except my cholesterol. It’s always been high my whole life. Well, my HDL (good cholesterol) on September 15th was 85, my triglycerides were 100, which is fine and the bad number, the LDL was a whopping 317. Most doctors freak out at that number, but you need to look inside the numbers. Anyhow, I decided to cut all sugar, all processed food, meaning all baked goods, fried stuff, things like chips, all saturated fat, meaning bacon, butter, whole milk, most cheese, etc. Yesterday morning, exactly one month later, I ran my blood work again. I was hoping for my LDL to drop 100 points or so, but my HDL came back at 85, which is good, tri’s dropped to 76, which is great and the bad LDL dropped to 117! This is unheard of. Lori thinks my first test was compromised or tainted as that’s an incredible drop. There’s no evidence of that and it was run twice in September though, so it seems it was right. Anyhow, incredible. The takeaway is that food is medicine and your body reacts to everything you eat, but with today’s available food from large corporations, there’s a lot of bad food out there, which can actually make you sick. For 30 days I didn’t eat anything with a bar code! That should tell you something. There you have it, I’m also down ten pounds, amazing.

Jag is home from New York. He took the 5:30pm flight to Chicago putting him home probably around 9:30 or so at home. He’s working from home today. This was his first time ever to New York, pretty amazing.

Time to get moving and head out to the gym. Have a great Friday and God Bless.
