Today the love of my life turns 50, although after last nights party, I’d bet she feels 70! The day went fast and before we knew it we were speeding up to our friends house for the party. The weather was beautiful along with the food and champagne. We knew most of the people although some of them we didn’t know. We were home by 9pm and then the fun began. Helen and Peggy, our Aspen girls, along with Michael and us sat out front by the fire Jagger built in the pit. Then our friends from jagger’s baseball team stopped by on their way home from the Rapids soccer game.
The kids all then played (they have two boys that are the same age as our boys) and we all sat and talked around the fire. Before anyone knew it, it had to be 11:30 or so which is late for us. Peggy had gone to bed earlier as this morning I’m running her and Helen to the airport as they’re off to Vegas for 3 days. Good news is Peggy is leaving her Ferrari with me  to drive. It’s fun to drive but hard to get in and out of. Oh well, it looks good in the driveway, ha ha.
Time to run as I have lots to do, hope all’s well, call and wish the misses Happy Birthday. Grandpa Bob already did at 7:30 meaning 6:30 his time! God Bless.
HAPPY 50TH LORI!
You and Serena look 10 yrs. younger than you are. Eat what you want!
As I said, I agree with Annette, Lori looks great! Ok, last night we had the 5th and 6th grade concert at school. Normally these are really good but last nights concert was just painful. It was with african drums, xylophones, and other instruments and none of it made sense. The only song that was any good at all out of the 1 hour 15 minute concert was the one from Jagger’s class. He and two other boys also performed solo songs on the tenor recorder which is like a flute. Here again, the other two boys struggled but Jag was fantastic! To throw in a little fun, he put on a bright green mustache and wore it throughout the whole show! He said he wanted to do a something a little crazy before it could get put in his permanent record. Too funny, he had lots of high fives from students and parents after the show! When he came up for his solo the music teacher said “wow, you grew a mustache, and I like it”!
Today we need to clean up around here and get ready for the weekend. Peggy from Aspen will be staying here tonight or tomorrow, we can’t remember. I have some errands today and Lori has work and Jagger has baseball practice tonight.
Time to run, lots to do, have a great weekend and God Bless.
