Football!

Well yesterday was the 3rd and final day of the NFL draft. My beloved Broncos acquired nine new players in all, mostly on defense. While we didn’t get the much needed defensive tackle, we got nine pretty good players that are more importantly all men of good character. Our team is really a mess right now and one draft isn’t going to fix all the problems we have so understanding this, this was a pretty good start.

Now on to more important things. Yesterday we had two soccer games. The oldest one was up first with his game at 9am about 40 minutes away. This meant we were up at 6:30 and out the door by 8. It was freezing yesterday morning, must have had a wind chill of 10 degrees! He played goalie (every parents nightmare) in the first half and did pretty well only surrendering two goals. In the second half his teammate gave up 6! Then a mad dash home and off to the store to by the little neighbor boy a birthday present. Both boys wanted to go to his party but it overlapped with the littlest ones soccer game so we had to pass. I had to remind him he made a commitment to his team and that came first. So off we headed to game #2 at 1pm. It was a mixture of hot and cold during the game. The boys played well but once again (you might remember from a previous post) the other team used a goalie! This of course is not allowed so I had to voice my opinion. After that we came home and both boys ran across the street to their friend who just got home from his party. They played there most of the rest of the afternoon and then into the evening. Mom arrived home an hour early from work as it was dead at the store. We had some dinner and settled in for some tv.

Today the oldest has his flag football game at 2pm. We hope the rain holds off and we’re all excited to go. He really played well 2 weeks ago (no game last week because of Easter) and I’m really excited and happy for him as football seems to be his best sport. Mom of course is not thrilled as flag football leads to full contact football which she is totally against. In fact I had to stop a small argument (that could have turned into a big one) yesterday between the two of them regarding this very subject. Anyhow we worked for an hour (at least) throughout the afternoon on passing and catching. Our neighbor across the street who was outside was surprised at how well he could throw the ball and offered up the sought after compliment of “Wow, what an arm” which pleased him very much. Every time I tried to go in I would throw a long pass and tell him if he caught it we’d stay out, if he dropped it, we’re going in. This was a mistake as he kept catching the ball and then of course gave me his favorite line of “in your face dad”. Eventually we did go in as it was getting time for dinner.

Mom’s still sleeping and the boys are playing Wii. I’m thinking of taking them to Denny’s (they love it) but the food is so bad for you plus it’ll cost $25. We had to pay $2600 in property taxes yesterday (arghhh) which will take almost a third of my paycheck this month and leave us short on something, we haven’t decided what yet, hopefully something will work out. The house is still pretty clean from Mom’s total house overhaul on Friday. The boys playroom is unbelievable, still clean but you wouldn’t have believed the bags of junk that came out of that room. She needed to do this while the kids were in school as every item to them is sacred, from old plastic milk jug rings they found on the ground that had somehow transformed into treasure, to old broken toys from years ago that have some sentimental meaning. Anyhow none of it is missed (so far) and they now have room to get around.

I think I’ll load them up in twenty minutes and head off to the gym. That’ll get both them and me some much needed exercise. So until tomorrow, stay safe and count your blessings. Here’s some words of thought for the day, lots of wisdom in history if you look for it.

God bless,

The Wind

The boys both headed of to soccer….of course they had to check out the cold and the wind before they would put on four layers of clothing.  It is very cold and with the wind chill the temperature feels like it is in the teens.  I can’t believe their games did not get canceled….it is much to cold  to be playing a game outside….not to mention the advantage the team with the wind to their back will have.

The kids have a conflicting schedule with a birthday party this afternoon…however, I told the youngest that his first commitment is to his team and if the game is cancelled he may go to the party. Oh how hard life can be for a 7 year old. I really hope they cancel his game..the party is for a neighbor boy that he plays with almost everyday and I hate to disappoint him when our little guy doesn’t make it.

Auntie B came by with a “Random act of kindness” yesterday. She brought over some much needed pooch ear wash. You see, our Lab gets an ear infection every time she eats something other than her kibble….and since she is a stealth trash diver and has a hunting nose for leftovers, she almost always has an ear infection.  Thank you Auntie B…I used it last night and she seems to be on the mend.

Hallelujah….the playroom that was once condemned is now clean! It only took 6 hours and 2 hefty lawn bags to get it done.  I really wanted to give up and just toss everything in there, but I sorted and cleaned and made a pile to donate….and voila….it is inhabitable again.  I have set some ground rules to keep it “Clean”; we will see if cleanliness truly is next to Godliness….I am praying that it is!

I have a couple of precious toys set aside that the boys have not played with in a while….. most likely because they could not see nor find them in their playroom. My plan is to take them to one of the Shelters in town along with some canned and dried goods next week while I am off…maybe on my birthday…that would be a nice gift for them to give to me. (I know..a touch selfish on my part).  I want them to understand that giving something away can feel just as good…if not better…..than getting something.  I hope it works.

The Mister “Rocks”, he took both boys to the early game and will then get them ready for the afternoon game.  He also shopped for our groceries while I was immersed in the playroom and bathrooms….he made a delicious dinner and did all of the dishes while I finished up laundry.  It’s amazing how far teamwork can go.  Thank you my husband for all of your help yesterday, today and all of the days since I started this new job.  I love you!

Our furry friends got their walk yesterday… it will have to be the ball for exercise today since I am short on time this morning and it is way too cold!!

I am off tomorrow and would like to see Grandma….so would the boys…all three of them.  We would also like to see how her plant and two little trees are handling this wind.

I need to check in with my mom on her breathing exercises to increase lung capacity…L.O.L is have a hard time getting enough air and he doc at Kaiser has never heard of such a thing.  I am in shock!!!

Off to work…have a great day…

God Bless

Random Acts Of Kindness

This week is “Random acts of kindness” week. While the boys were at school yesterday I went to the nursery and picked up a few plants for the boys to plant.  The boys quietly went into Grandma’s pasture planted two pine saplings and a “Miss Pinky Dianthus” on the edge of her pond.  There were a pair of geese swimming and then waddling around watching us…they were still there when we left…thankfully, because my quiet little boys were not so quiet when it was time to go.  They also planted a dianthus for L.O.L.

The boys both had soccer practice last night and then came home for a family dinner and then a bubble bath before bed.  They are so reminiscent of puppies when they get out of the tub.  All fired up and ready to play!  We got them settled down and in bed by 8:00. They both have spelling tests this morning and a good nights sleep always helps.  The school sent home a letter that reported a strange man with something in his hand hanging around the school yard and watching the kids…..scary.  They called all of the kids in from recess and notified the police. Hopefully that will be the end of it…very creepy.

I went for a run yesterday and threw the ball for the dogs…I bypassed “Spring cleaning” and took a nap…much to my husband’s chagrin. I’ll get to it today…since it’s in writing…I’ll have to get it done.  The Mister vacuumed for me yesterday and started the dishwasher….then he was on the phone with Comcast most of the afternoon, because they messed up all of our phones and computers when he switched over to a more cost effective program. Oh how efficient they are.

The Mister also made game hens that Uncle T so kindly offered us for our dinner.  They were delicious and with a bit of prodding the boys ate theirs too.

We haven’t written our pen pals yet…the kids are not as excited about it as I am…they inquired as to why should we write a letter when we all have telephones? UGG!  That will have to be an after school project for today.

We saw the “Kiss” from the Royal Wedding and everyone was beautifully dressed.  I loved the Queens yellow coat and hat, Kate’s dress was gorgeous and her sister looked amazing, as did all of the children.  What a day for London……

Kids are up….husband is hungry…and time to start my day…

God Bless

NFL Draft!

Today the NFL draft begins at 8pm EST. Everyone seems really excited about some wedding tomorrow (not sure who’s getting married) but I’m excited about the NFL draft. The Broncos have the #2 pick and I sure hope they don’t screw it up.

Really bad storms again the the southeast, lucky we don’t live there. Everyone is still asleep this morning around here. It’s supposed to be a bit warmer today and even better tomorrow and then rain and snow on Saturday when both boys have soccer games, figures. I didn’t get much sleep last night because I stayed up to watch basketball and of course woke up at my usual 5am. I was gone most of the day yesterday (6am until 4pm) so I’m not really up to speed on what went on around here. I did hit snow going over 2 passes on the way to my meeting. It’s still very much winter in the high country, lots and lots of snow.

The euro is still climbing against the dollar, it’s at 1.47 today. You might not know what this means but in short it means the dollar is worth less today than it was yesterday and you’ll pay more (especially for anything imported) for all the things you buy. Pretty unstable times we’re living in but enough politics, somebody’s getting married tomorrow, I just can’t remember who it is!

Not much else going on except I need to cook breakfast and let Mom sleep in. The dogs have both had their morning meal, I’ve finished the dishes and the boys will be up soon. Hard to believe it’ll be May 1st in a couple of days, before we know it, another year will pass. So knowing this, take some time to enjoy the day and everything around you, the flowers and trees are all blooming and spring is almost here. (it’s late here in Colorado this year) Hope everyone has a great day and stays safe and healthy,

God bless,

3 Days Off

I am off for the next 3 days, so…….spring cleaning and playroom here I come!

It’s a bit cool this morning, but the sky is clear blue, dotted with just a few pale pink clouds. The sun is peaking over the horizon, shining gold. I obviously relish the morning sky.

The Mister headed off on a day trip to the mountains this morning, say a safe driving prayer…the roads are not great in the mountains today…ice and snow….very scary!

I am planning some “Family Makeover” ideas for our family on my 3 days off. We are going to find a helpful, age appropriate community service for the boys to get involved with(of course we will be involved as well).  On the way to school the littlest said,”We could tell June that if something ever happens to her we could take care of Bunkie”. I think we will start by checking with Grandma to see if their is anything she wants planted…the boys are both great at planting flowers and herbs…then we will check with L.O.L to see if there is anything the boys can do in her yard.

I just got back from the dermatologist…she injected my bite with an antibiotic/steroid and gave me an oral antibiotic as well….she also suggested that I stay away from shrubs with spiders and nuts…bummer I really like shrubs with spiders!

Bob and Fred, the fish are still swimming…a bit sideways due to their dirty water or the vodka I poured in to sterilize their bowls….just kidding…it’s definitely the filth!! I will add their bowls to my “To Do” list today.

I am going to check with Grandma to see if she would like to go to lunch on one of my days off…tomorrow or Friday; it was so nice to have her over on Easter and the boys are super happy that she is back…they are planning on spending a lot of time at her house and of course in the coveted pasture.  I hope she is ready.

The mister called to let me know that the roads are icy, boy that’s a relief…I think I would prefer not to know.  I’ll be happy when he is home this afternoon.

One more family makeover plan is “Pen Pal” Wednesdays.  I am going to have the boys pick a relative…Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, Uncle, or Cousin to write to once  week. Please don’t get your feelings hurt if they don’t pick you.  I have a feeling that they will choose “Uncle Matt”, my sister Serena’s husband…you see he played with them in the “Jumpy Castle” at my Mom’s birthday bash for hours…literally. So, if you are reading Auntie S, be prepared and please prepare your husband that he will have to write back…even if it is only one paragraph.

Time to throw the ball and get to work on this house while the children are away…..

God Bless,

Tired Tuesday

I’m very tired this morning as I was up until 11:30 last night and woke up at 5ish. It’s cool outside this morning and might even snow tonight. I guess we shouldn’t complain as whenever you turn on the news it shows some more tornado’s or floods or something far worse in another part of the country. The boys are now begging to use the computers all the time. Aunt B (and Uncle T) gave them each a Puffle for Easter. These are little stuffed animals or toys that are nothing themselves but you log on to Club Penguin and sign in and then you’re in a virtual community with kids from everywhere. There are over a 100 different forums or themes the kids can enter (all related to penguins) and they then play games, find things, buy things, and more. It’s all the rage today, wonder what tomorrow will bring.

Mom came home a couple of hours early yesterday as she’d been itchy all day and her face was swelling up. She also was short of breath. She needed some Benedryl which helped a bit but she must have got into something. She threw together a quick dinner of Easter leftovers and then went straight to bed. She works from 8:15 until 4:30 today and then has 3 days off. I know she is looking forward to that as are the boys and I.

Lots going on politically and economically, too much for today (don’t you feel lucky) but all I ask is that you think for yourself. Too many people in our country turn on the boob tube and believe whatever some newscaster is telling them. Just cause it’s on TV doesn’t mean it’s true!

Oh well, most of the World will be in fairy tale land this week with the royal wedding. I mean come on people, they’re just people, the same as you and me. I’m personally more interested in the NFL draft which begins Thursday night. (those guys are royalty!) Here comes the misses and I need to warm up my coffee so I’m passing off the blog to her now, enjoy your day!

So….I’m ready for work with a lot of extra make-up on. The bite or whatever it is has gotten bigger and now has a friend.  The left side of my face is swollen….left eye is now smaller than the right…maybe it’s a lesson in vanity since I have to go work with the masses this morning. I am still itchy on my face, legs and arms….so far no more red bumps anywhere but my face. Hurray!! I will probably head to the doc at some time today or the dermatologist….maybe an allergist…any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had my quick run and I threw the ball for the dogs yesterday…we didn’t make it to Grandma’s, but maybe after work today.

The oldest has soccer practice tonight unless the field is too wet.  Both boys can use the exercise to get their incredible amount of energy out.

This is “Team Member ” appreciation week at work.  Yesterday was a basketball Free Throw contest….how many shots you make in 2 min….I am having a “do over” since I was the first to go and the line was a foot back too far….I only made 6. Today is a Foosball contest and the winner gets to keep the table. Tomorrow is a gift card grab…and a tricycle race around the store. Friday is a “Guess who” on baby pictures. It is a really fun place to work!!

The boys are up, so I am off to make breakfast…

God Bless

The Morning After

Good morning, it’s a bit cool and overcast so far, but it’s early and in Colorado you just have to wait 5 minutes for the weather to change.

I got the boys to school and gave Bunkie his shot….now the Blog, a quick run and a phone call to Grandma to get the okay to run the dogs in the pasture.

We really enjoyed Easter. It is so nice to have LuLu back from Arizona.  She of course looks fabulous, as always, and as always we enjoyed her company immensely. Uncle T and Auntie B brought up a delicious ham, a beautiful fruit tray, and 2 pies along with a candy loaded basket for each boy.  They also found a coveted “Puffle” for each boy which was a big hit.  Aunt S. brought a beautiful Easter Lilly for us and a lovely Hydrangea for Grandma…so happy she could be with us for Easter! We all enjoyed our brunch almost as much as visiting with each other.  My sweet husband did all the dishes so that I could chat with Grandma and June…..very sweet and very, very appreciated!  We missed Popcorn and Boadie, but Bunkie was well behaved, as were our Lab and Malamute…except for a few high pitched barks from the lab and the sugar induced excitement from our boys it was a pretty mellow party.  I love having everyone come over…I hope it’s as fun for them as it is for me!!

Thankfully for me Grandma’s “in” with the Easter bunny saved my bunny tail.  My oldest, after finding his Easter basket and checking out the loot….all from Whole Foods….asked directly if I made the baskets and wanted me to “swear to God” if I hadn’t…..So reluctantly I told the truth…that I had made them.  Oh, the tears and the shear devastation on his face truly broke my heart. I saw the two baskets that the “Bunny” had hidden out front while I was hiding eggs…whew!! I told the boys maybe the bunny hid his baskets outside….the tears stopped and the joyful smiles returned, and the hunt was on. Thank you Grandma for your help with the Easter Bunny!!

The Mister will be on the phone most of the morning…it’s the last Monday of the month, so things are quite hectic for him.

I am off for my run and time permitting to take the dogs up to Grandma’s……otherwise I will just throw the ball in the backyard.  Chasing the ball in the backyard is definitely not as fun as the pasture, but it is exercise.

Until tomorrow….love your life!!

God Bless

Happy Easter

It’s 6:50 am and we got home around 11pm last night with the boys still awake. They hung in there and refused to go to sleep at Uncle T and Aunt B’s until we arrived to pick them up. Although we rushed in, grabbed them and threw them in the car to run home for bed, it was almost 11pm before they hit the sack. We knew then we’d pay for their late evening today. From what they said, it was a great time. I heard they had something like chicken and blueberry muffins for dinner, mmmmm.

Our dinner was great, the company that is, the food didn’t turn out so well. Our hosts are so nice but she tried some new pork tenderloin recipe that didn’t work out. She (the cook) apologized as soon as she took her first bite but of course we all said , “no it’s not dry” and chewed on much like a horse chewing it’s cud. Anyhow the company, (our hosts and our other friends, Jeff and Tina) and us had a great time. They live a good 45 minutes away from our home so it took us a while to get there and it seemed even longer to get home.

The house is polished, as much as it can be with two little boys running around, awaiting our guests around 1pm. Mom is in the shower as we need to leave for church in 45 minutes. We thought about going to the 9:30 service but think the boys will be in full Easter mode (or meltdown mode from lack of sleep) by then wanting to look for eggs, baskets and play with their friends so we’re shooting for the 8am service.

We (the misses, I actually did nothing except help her shop) have quite the spread planned for our Easter celebration. I’m looking at the menu on the chalk board in the kitchen and it includes ham, scalloped potato’s, french toast, sausage, green beans, fruit, green salad, key lime pie, chocolate cream pie and chocolate cake. I think the 3 desserts was my wife’s idea. On top of this I’m sure the bloody mary’s and bubbly will be flowing although I’m personally planning on trying to abstain. I wish my gym had some kind of Easter service. It’d be nice to workout and have the service at the same time. My back somehow got tweaked while sleeping and hurts a little bit on one side. I’ve got to run now to jump in the shower and will finish up when we get home.

10:22 and we’re home from church and have found a trove of treasure outside in the form of 36 colored eggs, a couple baskets for each boy and a couple of small stuffed dragons, one red and one green. The Easter Bunny sure was busy while we were at church. It was almost standing room only at church and appeared to be even more crowded for the 9:30 service after ours as there was a huge line of people. It seems more people are reaching out to God these days which is a good thing. Just taking a look at the events of any recent day all over the World, this can only be a good thing! They closed today’s sermon with Hallelujah sung by the choir and congregation which was magical. Don’t know if you know the version I’m talking about but if you do, you know what I mean. It builds and builds throughout the hymn, and right now, I can’t get it out of my head. The boys did pretty well for not getting much sleep. We dropped Mom off to give Bunkie his morning shot and the boys and I went to pick up 3 Easter lilly’s, one for my Mom, one for L.O.L. down the street and one for my lovely wife, who by the way looked stunning at church. After dropping two off, we headed home for the “hunt”. It didn’t take long for the boys to root out their treasure with the skill of an old bloodhound. Mom had to stop them until she could run in and get the camera so they wouldn’t finish before she got outside.

Time for a few hard boiled eggs, thinking about a bloody mary, (wait wasn’t I going to abstain 2 hours ago!) but will wait as people don’t arrive for 2 1/2 hours. Both boys are melting down due to lack of sleep and sugar from assorted jelly beans and such. We need to quickly get some protein (in the form of hard boiled eggs) into them as this is the only antidote! With a little divine intervention, maybe, just maybe, we can avoid a full blown meltdown!

It seems like Mom didn’t even clean at all yesterday even though I know she spent hours on the house. The wrecking crew (our 2 boys) can demolish a house in a matter of minutes. Time to go and give her a helping hand as it’ll probably take the remaining two hours (before people arrive) to get everything done.

May God bless all of you on this holiest of days, we hope you have a very Happy Easter,

It’s Snowing, kind of

6:30am and if you look closely, it’s snowing just a bit. Today and tomorrow are supposed to be fairly chilly for late April. Today we have soccer and tonight dinner at our good friend’s (former lawyer, now judge) house. This is the dinner we were supposed to have with them and another couple that we had to cancel a few months ago due to the youngest ones Destination Imagination event at school, remember that? Uncle T and Aunt B are going to watch the boys. The littlest one has some allergies and is congested with a junky cough and stuffy nose, but rest easy Grandma, he’s not contagious. (according to the doctor, clear not green!) Thanks much to Uncle T and Aunt B, they help us out a lot. The older boy had an extra football practice last night which wasn’t on the schedule but we have a really good coach who put together an optional practice for the boys that wanted to play. Mom arrived home about 9;45pm, boy she and I (and the boys) hate those late night shifts.

Tomorrow’s Easter, the day Jesus rose from the dead, the littlest one pointed out. We’ll all be headed to church early as we have a 1pm brunch here with the whole family and L.O.L. and Bunkie and hopefully Popcorn and Bodie, if all showed, we’d have 5 dogs running around! Mom told the oldest one yesterday the he was the best boy ever and she was abruptly corrected by him as he said, “no Mom, the best boy ever was Jesus” looking at her like, don’t you know that??? The littlest one upon me telling him he should go to bed early due to his allergies (all from his mothers side as I’ve never been allergic to anything except brussel sprouts and liver) cocked his head slightly and said, “ok I’ll try, but you know Dad, I’m really pretty much a night person”.

So the day will be filled with soccer, cleaning for tomorrow, getting ready for an hour drive across town for dinner, home by hopefully 10:30 and then a rush to bed as church comes early at 8am. Oh yeah, we’re also on snacks for both games meaning we need to bring the half time oranges and drinks and treats for after each game. At least we have them both on the same day.

Yesterday L.O.L. sent home an Easter Present with Mom for the family. When she opened the bag there was a check for each boy for $5 and an antique soup terrine (which was obviously hers as it was freshly washed still dripping with water) and an antique tea pot, the kind that’s white with that english royal blue lace type pattern on it, you girls know what I’m talking about. I dug deep in the bag but didn’t find any old handguns, gold pocket watches or guy stuff, oh well, maybe Mom will make some really good soup and fill up the terrine.

Time to run as I need to pay a couple of bills (everyday chore) and get ready for soccer in an hour. Mom needs to get breakfast going and we both need to shower. Enjoy the weekend and hopefully everyone has fun plans for tomorrow. Easter is one of my favorite holidays, the eggs are colored and the boys are anxiously awaiting the Easter Bunny with the same enthusiasm as Santa Claus. We could have 1 to 4 inches of snow in the morning though, so it might be a bit harder to find the eggs. The baskets are usually inside when the weather is bad, the Easter Bunny’s pretty smart that way. I’m sure we’ll talk with most of you tomorrow, if we miss anyone, we send our thoughts, prayers and love for your health and happiness.

Happy day before Easter (as the littlest one said when he first woke up this morning), and we’ll talk to you all tomorrow!

Earth Day

My Mom arrived home about 6pm last night after a 12 hour drive from Arizona. She looked good, a bit tired but good. It seems 2 months in the Phoenix sun gave her a slight bronze color that the rest of us are still missing. The boys were excited to go up to Grandma’s and bugged us for hours preceding her arrival.

Mom works from 2 until 9:30, super! At least she’s off for Easter weekend. I finally got a new storage shelf put together in the basement yesterday and began moving “stuff” from room to room. The wind was wild last night and dogs were howling. That along with the littlest one coming into our room (no surprise there) resulted in another night of lost sleep. Anyhow Mom’s offered to take over mid stream today so I’m signing off until tomorrow, take care and stay safe…….

Happy Earth Day…..The sky is blue, the grass is turning green, there are red, pink, and purple tulips blooming in the front yard and rose colored apple blossoms on most of the trees in the neighborhood. The birds are singing and the air is crisp…I love spring.

At all of the Whole Foods in the Country today, for every 4 plastic bags you bring in the store will give you a reusable Whole Foods bag. It’s a great way to get rid of all of those plastic bags that are collecting in our Oceans and creating islands of plastic. Yuck!!!  So, if you have time and you are out and about make sure to take those plastic bags in for recycled, reusable bags.

The boys and I took the dogs up to Grandma’s pasture yesterday….the dogs had a blast chasing the ball and sniffing around to smell all of the critters that make their way through the tall grass, the boys also enjoyed themselves catching grass hoppers, potato bugs and spiders.  At one point my little cuties(the boys) were sitting side by side on the bank of the pond just talking….very poignant!

I spent a little time with June, aka L.O.L. in the morning before work and again in the evening before giving Bunkie his shot.  Her family wanted her to go to Seattle for her 90th birthday, but that idea was not high on her list, so I have offered to plan her party and depending on how many people can attend we may have it here….a room at The Brown Palace also may be an option.  She wants to have a theme party….hurray, you all know how I love a “Theme”.  I am contemplating “Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend”,or perhaps “Hello To Hollywood”. those of you that know her and those of you that don’t are all welcome to send in suggestions….there may be a prize.  Her birthday is June 7th, so I have to get busy!!!

We colored our eggs yesterday….all 42 of them.  Our littlest made a green and yellow one that he named the “Green Bean Packers” egg…the oldest made a “Fire Dragon” egg, I think they named all 42 of the eggs and have high expectations for the “Easter Bunny” this year…they love getting a stuffed animal from the E.B. I hope the bunny remembers.

Dad cleaned and cleaned yesterday and of course today the house looks like we had a kids party…..I think for 7 and 9 year olds everyday is a party!

We are going to get a bit of exercise…we and the dogs, and then get working on the play room and the menu for Easter. Grandma, Uncle T., Auntie B., Auntie S., June, Bunkie, and the four of us will all celebrate Easter together…of course Popcorn is also invited and may enjoy a fun play date with Bunkie….Boadie is also welcome, but  will have to sit at the “Big dog table” outside.  Let me know which four legged friends will attend.

I am off to break up the wrestling match on the family room floor..

God Bless and celebrate our great Earth today!!!
