Nice outside but close to zero. Still, not that cold though. We had the heat turned off in the house last night so it’s a nice 65 degrees inside right now. Looks like a week of mid 40-degree temps up here.
Ty worked until 2am and strolled in sometime after 3. We’re not sure exactly when he made it home. He stopped to see a girl on the way home. He’s 21 years old you know.
Good football games yesterday. Can’t believe the Bears came back and beat the Packers. Three more games today. We’re going up to Davy and Abbey’s (next door) this afternoon.
Here’s a great story, our local 41-year-old girl, who had been retired from ski racing for almost 5 years, won another World Cup race! No one really cares outside of the ski community and us living in the valley, but we like our two World Cup Skiing Champions as they both are from and live here. It just goes to show you that if you put your mind to something, you can probably do it! Lindsey Vonn is on a roll, and of course, Mikela has been at the top of her game for years. When you get off the highway to drive into Edwards, where Ty works and where our gym is, there’s a big sign that says, “Home of Mikela Shiffrin”. We like them because they’re just regular girls, although Lindsey did go through her Hollywood phase when she first retired. We see them both around town on a regular basis. Good for them!
Lots going on at work. Big changes are happening. It’s almost mid-January, which means at most, we have about 90 days of winter left. We have to figure out when we can go to the Stock Show. Looks like we’ll go during the week as we’ll be at the game next weekend.
7:30am now. We were up around 3 seeing if Ty was home or where he was. You still worry about your kids even though they’re 21 and 24 years old. Ty’s birthday is next Saturday! 22 years old, wow.
