Another Sunday

Ava made it to Chicago, Ty was surfing off the coast of Santa Barbara again yesterday, while Lori and I were getting stuff done! The night before last, Ty went down to Los Angeles, and they went to UCLA and then Santa Monica to some clubs. He told me, no way could I live in LA, whew! Salvatore was here doing a lot of painting and repair on doors and door jams, I went and washed Lori’s car, stopped by Kelli’s to pick up six dozen fresh eggs, as the chickens think it’s summer, and bought two new bird feeders from the hardware store as one of ours went missing, probably on some bucks antlers.

Big project of the day was Ty’s room. Lori is probably two thirds of the way done. We took out a bunch of stuff, donated a bunch of old clothes to Salvatore who will send them to his family in Mexico, and purged his entire closet. Matching socks took a couple hours alone! He’ll be in for a big shock when he gets home. He had a giant tv set up at the end of his bed so he could just lay in bed and play games. That’s back in the basement, so if he wants to play on the big tv, he’ll need to go downstairs. We hope to finish today but Lori’s headed to Glenwood at 10:15 to get her hair down and the guys come over around 2:30.

I ran a few other errands too like the pet store for dog food and the post office. Davy was in Steamboat for Rivers hockey games, so I had to go let the dogs out too.

We’ll have the game on today in the background, probably with no sound, and we’ll for sure be switching over to the alternative halftime show. The highlight we hope, will be the commercials. Lori made chili, onion chip dip with Ruffles, a carrot cake, and I have 4 dozen smoked chicken wings. Two dozen balsamic and two dozen salt and pepper with a spicy BBQ sauce. It was almost 60 degrees yesterday and should be about the same today.

Time to head to the gym. Have a great day and if you have to cheer for a team, cheer for the Seahawks! We hate the Patriots. God Bless.
