Looks rainy in Denver. Nothing up here this morning, but we did have some good rain yesterday, on and off. Looks like the pattern of some rain and sun will continue through at least mid-next week. It’s way better to have this now than a rough winter, which we luckily avoided.
I had a good meeting with Toby, Davy and Paulo in Denver yesterday morning. Looks like the deal on the new company is coming together. Toby, my buddy who is the Leica Sport Optics rep for the western U.S., says the product will crush everywhere. I was waiting to see what he thought before moving forward as he’s the guy that knows whether the market would embrace it, or not. More to come on this later. I have a meeting with Paulo today. He recently bought the Company from an older man in Austria, and it was pretty successful selling 45,000 units last year. I think we can double that here in a year or so.
I think I have cigars this afternoon with the guys. We’ll see. Lori is home today. They had a little birthday celebration for her yesterday at work as she’s taking Monday off. I need to come up with something fun for Monday. I’d better get busy. Think she’s 62!
