Nails and hair

Yesterday Lori had her nails done and this morning at 10, she’s getting her hair done! Looking good! I’m running over to Marty’s to use his heat gun to remove some double-sided tape from a decorative piece of metal trim on one of our outside windows that fell off due to the heat. It’s really strong and you can’t even get it off with Goo Off or a regular blow dryer. We’ll put it back on later in the day when it cools off. Lori is going to Glenwood as that’s where April, her hairdresser, lives. We should both be home around noon.

Lots going on. I’m sort of over it and would like to just take a few weeks off. We are flying up to Montana Thursday and back Friday so I’ll basically try not to do too much work Thursday through Sunday. Still, not really a vacation.

It won’t be long until it’s Labor Day and then the weather should start changing. Not sure where we’re hunting this year as with the Dems now in charge of the former Department of Wildlife (they abolished it and put it under the Parks Dept. run by a bunch of liberals who have never held a rifle or hunted in their life), tags are really hard to get and we didn’t draw any this year in Colorado. We decided we didn’t want to spend the big bucks this year to go out of State and took our chances on drawing tags. None of us were successful, of course. Colorado not only wants to take everyone’s guns, they also want to outlaw hunting. To show you how crazy they are, they recently said forest service workers and rangers can’t use chain saws to remove dead or fallen trees out in the wilderness, because it might disturb hikers or some animals! They now have to use hand saws only. You can’t make this crap up anymore. It’s beyond insane. Hope we can get out of Commirado soon.

Ty’s already off to work. He’s putting in the hours. Lori had me drive her around yesterday afternoon looking for someone’s lost dog she saw on the way home from getting her nails done. We didn’t find it, but she’s glad we at least looked.

Looks like a rainy weekend coming up! About time. Have a great day and get ready for the week. That’s all, God Bless.
