This weekend we’re going to try to really try to check out of work. It’s tough as we both (Lori and I), are in charge of our respective companies and when anything comes up, it’s up to us to fix it. I know she needs a break and so do I.
Marty was over at his storage unit yesterday picking up some bikes, so he stopped by. It was hot outside. I think it’ll be cooler today and tomorrow with some rain.
I finally received the link from my guy at AEG yesterday for the Garth Brooks show on September 6th so I could buy my tickets. I still have to pay regular prices for tickets but get preferred seats. Lots of people can’t get tickets at all and they’re two or three times the cost on the secondary market. Our dentist, his wife, Marty and Mel and Tom and Holly are all going with us. We’re excited as I picked the 2 in the afternoon show instead of one of the three nighttime shows. This way we’ll be done around 5 and home by 7 or so. Way better than getting home at midnight on a Sunday. Tom said we must be getting old. I thought that’s a better way to look at it than we are old! Should be fun as Garth Brooks is one of the greatest live entertainers there is.
Ty’s off to work and we’re headed to, you guessed it, the gym. Have a fun Saturday and God Bless.
