Cold and sunny

This morning we have 3 bucks outside feasting away on the bird seed. I bought four bags yesterday as Ace Hardware had a two for one deal. The little birds love it too! I’m happy to feed them and help them through the winter.

Lori arrived around 12:30 and our little airport was packed. Lots of skiers and out of town visitors coming for the holiday. We’re so lucky to live in a place that others save up to come for vacation. Ty was on the mountain most of the day and had a blast. He has something like 800,000 lifetime vertical feet according to the app on his phone. That’s a lot! He needs to study today.

Think we’ll head to the gym and then I might run to Whole Foods. Maybe I’ll wait until tomorrow when there’s less skier traffic.

We went and saw Dixie who had a bunch of stuff packed in a box as she was going to “get off the train” when it arrived in Woodward Oklahoma. Lori unpacked her stuff, hung pictures back up and cleaned her apartment. I’m sure we’ll see her today as she’s living on borrowed time for sure.

Time to get moving and grooving. St. Nick starts today! That’s where you put a shoe outside your bedroom door and St. Nick brings you a small treat for the next 12 days. If you’ve been bad you might get a stick! If good, maybe an orange (that’s what Mom, I mean St. Nick would leave sometimes when we were kids), or a piece of candy or something fun. It’s all about the lead up to Christmas Eve. It’s a Scandinavin thing.

Enjoy the day and life! God Bless.
