Aggghh, not a good day!

Man, when we get through this, we’ll be able to get through anything. Notice I said “when” and not “if”. We will get through this, just not sure how long it’s going to take. Yesterday was not a good day for the misses and consequently, not a good day for me. She, once again, feels guilty as she thinks when she’s not doing well, I get more stressed out and then I’m not doing well. I probably do but it’s not her fault, but in any case, it stops now! We’re at the point where we just have to stop getting worked up and kind of live with it as the stress is turning out to be as bad as whatever it is that’s causing the problems in the first place. So, from this second forward, I refuse to get stressed out over anything.

I just went up to wake the misses and had to lay down for a second as I was all dizzy, I must have got up too fast and made the coffee too strong this morning! The misses pointed out that my pills say “may cause drowsiness” and “take with food”, but I only took the thing 15 minutes ago! Maybe it’s because I took my last pill yesterday late at night. Anyhow, life goes on as we have the big d.i.presentation this morning and have to leave around 6:30am. On top of that, my head was pounding all night too, I’m kind of stuffed up and it’s got to be sinuses or allergies. Damn, it’s one thing or another, but I’m not gonna get stressed out about it! In fact, I shouldn’t mention stress anymore, plus probably need to quit coffee and sugar!

My buddy took me to Restaurant Depot yesterday. I’ve never been there before and what an experience. This is like Costco on steroids. It’s where all the restaurants go to shop (you have to have a special card) and the prices are unbelievable, plus there’s no tax! To give you an example, a pork roast that would have cost $60 at Costco was $21 here! It was 16 pounds for $21 or $1.39 A pound. A Callebaut white chocolate bar that would sell for $16 a pound at the misses store was $4 a pound here! Everything does come in “restaurant size” portions though and that’s why we now have an 11 pound chocolate bar sitting on our kitchen counter. You can’t imagine how big an 11 pound chocolate bar is until you actually hold it in your arms! Anyhow my buddy started smoking us a pork roast and a brisket in his smoker last night and will be dropping it off later this afternoon. We have some friends from Wyoming (the young couple that work at our friends ranch) who are in Denver for a horse show, who are coming over with their 2 year old for dinner. That should be fun for the boys as they like playing with Dali. (the 2 year old)

I’m sure we’ll have meat for 20 so if any of you locals need something for dinner, give us a call. Mom’s making us some food as I’m still dizzy and need something to eat. Time to run now as I’m out of material. Hope everyone’s well, take care and we’ll see you tomorrow. God Bless.

I think we’re headed to Vail

I’m about out of options for the misses. I’m not going to spend the whole time writing about her you know what, but think next week I’m going to have to take her to see Dr. Cornman in Vail. Maybe just maybe, the cortisone shot will miraculously work over the weekend and she’ll kick this thing. We’re sure hoping so.

Yesterday, yup, you guessed it, I boxed up some more wine and shipped it off this time to Florida. A few errands, 4 or 5 phone calls to Germany and before you knew it, it was time to pick up the boys. Then at 4:30 it was off to Krav Maga until 6pm. A quick dinner, some snuggling (that means all 4 of us in the same bed) and soon everyone went to sleep.

I slept until a bit after 5 which was nice as I’d been getting up around 3:30 this week. The oldest one is still having CSAP tests at school. I didn’t know but these go on for two weeks! He says he’s doing pretty well and knowing him, I’m sure he’s right. Tonight we have another rehearsal for the youngest guys d.i. presentation which is tomorrow morning. He has a Chinese dinner tonight after practice as their presentation is Chinese or Japanese. All I know is we have to be at the high school by 7am tomorrow, uggh. It’ll go on for a few hours and then we’re supposed to go back for some kind of an awards ceremony tomorrow night. In previous years, we usually skip the evening ceremony as the kids don’t really don’t want to go back to sit through some speeches. We’ll see how the day goes.

It’s after 6 now and everyone is still sleeping. I hollered the time upstairs but no one is stirring. I’ll give them all another 15 or 20 minutes before I go up and nudge them all awake. I don’t have much else to say, glad the solar flares didn’t cause more damage but we’re not out of the woods yet as now our atmosphere is weakened and this year and next are forecasted to be the heaviest in 100 years for solar flare activity. I know this doesn’t mean much to most, if not all of you, since you probably don’t follow or understand it.

Here’s a little blurb to help explain it,

A CME is currently racing towards earth and will strike a blow very soon, sometime on March 8-9, to an already ‘taxed’ magnetic shield. If sunspot 1429 blows off a large X-class flare in the next few days, the resulting CME (Coronal Mass Ejection which can trigger geomagnetic storms that have been known to knock out electric power for extended periods of time.) ‘could’ be a bigger problem for us here on earth, even bigger than whatever happens on the 8th-9th because the huge sunspot will be firing ‘straight’ at us in a few days.

Hopefully nothing will ever happen but there was a 1 in 8 or 12% chance of serious damage to power grids and such. Good thing it didn’t happen, keep your fingers crossed. There’s always something like this going on and you usually don’t hear about it, especially from the likes of the Today Show, but this was a big time event that thankfully doesn’t happen very often. Oh well, not much you could do about it anyhow.

Time for me to run, I didn’t get to the gym yesterday and am determined to go today, not just sure when. Hope you’re all well, time to get something to eat as the pills I’m on are supposed to be taken with food and my stomach is gurgling. I think I’m getting better though, thanks for the good thoughts and well wishes from those of you that I talked to. Man it’s a bitch getting old! Thankfully I refuse to do so and still think I’m 28, ok maybe 38.

Have a nice weekend.

I guess we’re lucky

Alright, let’s try to look at the positive instead of the negative. After speaking with a few of the old wise sages we know (you know who you are!) I guess things could be much worse. As far as my shingles go, I probably shouldn’t even mention them as from what I now understand, they could be much much worse. Plus with the shape the misses is in, shingles are nothing. (but they do freakin hurt!)

Last night I was just getting into a good sleep when Lacey the lab decided to bark at 3:30am. She woke both the oldest guy and me for some strange reason we couldn’t find. Before that the misses woke us as she thought she heard some strange noise downstairs, and so the saga of no sleep continues. Back to the dog. We think she’s just getting old but old or not, she’s not eating breakfast at 3:30 in the morning! Maybe she’s just on my time schedule as she did eat before going to bed and really didn’t need food, plus we let her out twice before bed, put water in her room and threw the ball for her before she retired for the evening.

So pain or not, life goes on. I had to box a bunch more wine yesterday and take it to Fed Ex but first we had another trip to our favorite “out of network” physical therapy (more $) to try to get the misses some more relief. Then a quick stop at the grocery store and we finally made it to drop the boxes. Then home.

I don’t remember a whole lot more about the evening, (not a good sign, ha ha) but think I was asleep by 9. Both boys went right to sleep and have been really good about getting in their own beds and going to sleep.

I wish I had more to tell you but I’m kind of in a fog, lot’s of crap going on in my head, including a new headache that started at 3:30 when the dog woke us. Must be sinuses. Oh well, bring it on, let’s get it all out of the way at the same time so we can get back to a normal life. We’re kind of at the point where it’s just now laughable. Today we’ll probably get some big unexpected bill or something, ha ha.

Don’t worry, we’re keeping a positive attitude. It’s easier for me than the misses as you all know I’m harder to rattle. I keep telling her in 6 months we won’t even remember this, hope I’m right. I can handle just about anything but when you have health issues, those need to come first. So, time to go, Mom’s making breakfast and both boys are playing with their Nooks on the couch and of course, Lacey the lab is of course, fast asleep, I think I’ll go wake her. Paybacks a bitch!

Time for breakfast, be right back. Mmmmm, french toast, bacon and strawberries, a good start to the day. I just spent 30 minutes in the cold garage (good for a headache) breaking down 120 empty wine boxes for our trash man who comes at 7am. He won’t be very happy with us today but I usually go out and help him and did tip him generously at Christmas. He doesn’t speak much english but always waves at me. (I don’t think many people tip their trash guy)

Did you see the massive solar flare hurling at earth at 4 million miles per hour. I can’t believe the mainstream news (The Today Show) lead off with this. As you know from previous posts, we monitor this daily via emails from the Australian Space Agency as it can affect anything electronic. In this case, airplanes changed routes so as not to fly over the north pole as it could interfere with their communication systems. Oh well, we’re ready as we’ll ever be for something like this.

I guess I’ll run. I need to stay busy to keep my mind off you know what. Hope everyone is well, take care and have a great day.

Ok, no more about the misses pain

Ok, as promised, not much else to talk about regarding the misses on going pain. Let’s switch gears a bit, you’re not going to believe this, are you ready, wait for it, here it comes, I have freakin shingles! I finally made it to the doctor yesterday for a painful rash on the trunk of one side of my body only to be informed that I have freakin shingles! Now I’ve heard about them but didn’t really know what they were. Well let me tell you, they’re itchy, painful sores that feel like a huge mosquito bites on steroids. The doctor asked me if I was under any special stress, financial, home life, work related or if anything is bothering me (wait he just saw me and the misses last week for her headaches!), to which I replied, nah, nothing special. Now this is pretty much true as I’m so used to it, it’s nothing out of the ordinary. Regardless I was told that they’re probably from stress and lack of sleep but I have a hard time believing any doctor these days as the misses and I concluded that they all pretty much just guess at things.

It’s now a bit after 4, what’s new, and the misses has been up all night too. Hopefully she’s getting some sleep now as she sure needs it. We’re thinking of just loading up the kids, the dogs and whatever else we can carry, and hitting the road and driving to Hawaii. (just kidding, don’t any of you freak out, it’s a sort of metaphor plus for those of you who are geographically challenged, you can’t drive to Hawaii!) Hawaii would be nice though, and probably help. I think I’ll check my frequent flyer miles.

Now to the kiddo’s. Yesterday the oldest one had his CSAP tests which are some government tests that determine how much money the school district gets. I guess the better the school does, the more funding they get. Personally I think the worse the school does, the more money they should get, right? Anyhow, the oldest one finished about an hour before most of his class even though we gave him strict instructions to take his time. It seems that while he excels in school (both boys report cards came home the other day with both of them at the top of their class) he sometimes goes too fast through his work and should slow down a bit and take his time. The only mistakes he ever makes are just silly ones resulting from not reading the question thoroughly, so we’re told. Oh well, things could be worse, there are lots of kids in both boys classes that can’t complete even the most basic of tasks.

Right after school the youngest had his final dress rehearsal for his d.i. presentation coming up this Saturday. Right after that, it was straight off to soccer practice until 5:15 and then home. By this time, the misses head was pounding and I wasn’t doing much better so we went to a local burger joint to get the boys some dinner. A gyro and corn dog later we were headed home. Mom headed down to give that little dog the evening shot while I got the boys ready for bed. We think L.O.L. and the freaking dog might be part of the root of her headache also! Let me tell you, it’s getting real old (giving a shot morning and night) and I’m not even the one who has to do it! The misses made a commitment though, so she’s all in. I told her she ought to be getting paid $500 a week or so. Imagine every single day and night having to go down and give a little biting poodle a shot and, even though we love her, put up with the quirks of a 90 year old lady. She’s sweet and means well but always calls at the most inopportune time, like the middle of the night. We with 2 boys of our own and the misses head have enough challenges, or things going on, especially at breakfast and dinner time each day. Oh well, I’m sure there’s a special place in heaven for her, she’s a better person than I and probably as good or better than most of you that are reading this. I told her it could be worse, she could have freakin shingles!

It was 70 degrees yesterday and supposed to be cold and snowy today but looks pretty nice outside right now. That’s another profession where you can just guess, weatherman. How about that one, I mean how often are they right, 50% of the time, hmmm. It’s now 5:05am and I’m headed to the gym, I’m addicted to exercise, I kind of freak out if I don’t go for a few days thinking my muscles are shrinking (which they do!) if you don’t continuously use them. You’ve heard it, use it or lose it! Trust me, it’s true, especially the older you get. Oh well, I’m sure you all know this, so time to go. If you’re having a bad day or feeling down, think of us! It could be worse. (I’m laughing as I’m writing this, we’re now to the comical stage so don’t worry)

Take care and God Bless!

Pain is back, more doctors today

I’m getting so tired of writing about the misses pain but not nearly as tired as she is of living with it. Once again, we’re at a loss. I think we’re going to have to pay to go see the specialist in Vail at Steadman Hawkins, the world famous clinic where Dr. Cornman is. We fear he’s going to tell us this time that the misses needs to have her discs fused. This will be a real drag as he has previously told us he’d have to fuse discs 4,5,6,and 7 which would greatly reduce the mobility in her neck. This is the last option but one things for sure, we can’t go on like we are. I think this will be my last post about it as maybe if we don’t talk about it anymore, it’ll magically go away.

I loaded up about fourty 36 pound boxes in my truck yesterday and headed off to Fed Ex. I need to get a bunch more boxed up today but first have a meeting across town at 9am and then the misses has two doctor appointments at 10:45 and 11am. I need to get them out today as it’s supposed to get cold tomorrow.

After school the youngest one had d.i. There big performance is this Saturday so they’re trying to cram in as much practice as possible. Meanwhile we took the oldest one for his second haircut in as many days. The day before we made the mistake of taking both boys to Supercuts where, by luck, the youngest ones haircut was ok but the oldest ones was terrible. I knew he was going to get teased at school and sure enough, he did. So right after school Mom and I took him to the barber shop, you know, the kind with the real barber chairs and stuff, and got him all fixed up. he instantly looked a couple of years older and was much happier with the outcome. Then it was off to pick the youngest up from d.i. and then home where I hit the phones while Mom laid on the couch holding her head. Whoops, there I go again!

I’d better get in the garage and start putting some boxes together before the day gets away from me. 70 degrees today with big winds, so they say. I think I have allergies these days as when it’s windy, I get a bad headache. Oh well, could be worse. Time to go, take care, have a great day and God Bless.

Monday monday,

Here we go, another week. Where does the time go? Today is March 5th meaning Easter is 33 days away and the kids will be out of school in less than 90 days, Wow!

Last night the boys went to swim team after a much needed haircut. Both boys are swimming great and love it. The oldest is the fastest in every stroke except breast stroke and has been moved up into position #1 in his group. His long lean legs and arms are paying dividends. Meanwhile the youngest ones legs seem to be growing just as fast. As he was walking in the house last night after practice, the misses and I were amazed at how tall he is too. She’s a bit sad as she says it was just yesterday when they were 2 and 4 years old.

Today it’s supposed to be almost 70 degrees and then snow on Wednesday. I managed to get about 15 boxes of wine ready for Fed Ex yesterday and need to finish up another dozen today and get them all to the drop off location by 5pm. Tomorrow I’ll have to get another 20 boxes or so out the door before the snow hits. The misses has been pretty patient with all the boxes stacked around the house even though I know it bugs her.

Speaking of the misses, her headache is pretty much back. We’re hoping it’ll calm down over the next few days. I keep telling her she needs to take it easy and not do so much around the house but you know how she is. As soon as she started feeling better, she jumped right into some housework. Big mistake. Tomorrow she has 2 doctor appointments and I think a PT appointment this morning. It sure is getting old, especially for her.

I managed to get a 30 minute workout in yesterday and need to do so again today. The misses is dying to workout but on the advice of her surgeon, is supposed to lay low and let the medicine settle in. We were talking yesterday and thought back to last time she had this neck problem and how we cured it. If we remember right, as soon as we went to Hawaii, all the humidity cleared it up! A beach trip would be nice, we love Hawaii, there’s really no place like it.

Time to get my 2 miles in. I’m super busy today so if I’m going to stick to my schedule, I’d better go now. Hope everyone is doing well. Have a great week and give us a call to say hi and tell the misses to lay low! God Bless.

Sunday

Good morning.  Did any of you Coloradans see the sunset last night? It was so stunning that the oldest called me to the door saying, “Mom, you have to see the sky…now, now, now!” The pale blue sky was streaked with orange, pink, purple, red and shining gold.  It was so beautiful that the sunset even made the news.

The kiddos played back and fourth from our house to the neighbors most of the morning. The youngest went to d.i. and I think he was the only child to stay on task.  The girls were losing focus and I think this project is a real challenge for all of them.  The oldest was at the neighbor’s house while the youngest was gone.  He came home about an hour before the mister went to get the youngest.  He was quite peeved at us.  He thought we weren’t home and we didn’t call him to tell him we were leaving.  Of course I was home the whole time and his confusion was due to the fact that he didn’t see one of our cars.  Really, he just needed lunch.

The boys mastered their sleep over plan once again and this time we had the two oldest boys here.  At 8:30 p.m. the youngest came home for some medicine for his extremely chapped lips and decided to stay.  We called to see if the other youngster wanted to come over to our house as well, but he declined. All three boys had sleeping bags on the floor of the oldest’s room.  They had the bags arranged for a “Chat session,” or so I was told.   We have only three munchkins this morning. They’ve been up since a little after 6:30 and I think the Mister slept until 6:00 a.m……must be a record.

Oh, that Lab….I threw the ball on several occasions for her yesterday and last night. I took water upstairs for her and made sure she had plenty to eat. I also let her out twice before going upstairs and yet she barked at 11:30 and 3:00 a.m. The mister didn’t hear her and I wanted to give him a break, so I let her out.  She has ear infections again from pilfering food that she is allergic to.  I’ve been treating her ears for the last four days, but I think she still wants to go out to roll and itch.  This behavior has to stop…the mister just came down to inform me that she just ate the trash in our bathroom.  Ugg! That is not going to help the fight on ear infections at all.

The man is off to the gym and I am off to make pancakes for the mini crew.

Have a great day and god bless.

Oh man, 4am

Can’t seem to sleep past 4am. I’d like to, just can’t. Guess I’d better go to bed earlier. Oh well, at least there’s peace and quiet at this time of the morning. Lacey the lab woke me up today,  first at 1:30am and then now at 4. I need to run to Vail this morning to deliver some wine a client bought a month or so ago so I’ll take off by 5 and be back in Denver by 8am.

Yesterday was a busy day. The house is now spotless and filled with over 200 boxes of wine. It looks like some contemporary art project with all the different colored boxes spread throughout the kitchen, dining room and living room. Now comes the hard part, opening them up and repacking them and shipping them via Fed Ex to states all over the country. If a couple of hundred cases of wine doesn’t sound like a lot to you, trust me, it is.

After getting all the wine in the house, it was about 5:30pm and time for dinner. The misses did so much work yesterday that I was afraid she was going to bring her headache back full force. It’s thankfully been around a 6 or a 7 out of 10 on the pain scale and we’re trying to keep it calmed down hoping the medicine takes affect. So, I suggested we all go to dinner at the new local place that just opened, called Tellers. We showed up to the place only to find there was a 30 to 45 minute wait. We decided to wait it out so we turned on a movie in the car and sat out front waiting for our table. Finally about 40 minutes later, we were seated at our table anxiously wanting some food. For those of you that live close, the food was good. The place is real loud and small as it’s in an old 7-11. Still we have no good neighborhood restaurants so it’s a welcome addition. I spoke to the guy in charge and will hopefully get some wine in. He told me his “friend” helped him with the wine list and alcohol selections but let me tell you, this guy was no friend at all! In short, the list sucks. It’s all massed produced wine from huge vineyards and half of the vodka selections are all flavored Van Goh vodkas. It’s easy to tell that the salesman from the distributor sold the guy products that he was getting spiffed on and not really designing a good list with the customer in mind. This happens often in our industry, salesmen taking advantage of people. Oh well, I’ll try to help.

Today the youngest has d.i. and the oldest one still has that deep cough in his lungs that hopefully will be gone by the end of the weekend. I made a trade yesterday with a store in Rapid City South Dakota and have a new .270 caliber hunting rifle on the way to Denver that’ll arrive hopefully by Wednesday. I’m super excited to get this and although I traded in one of my more prized handguns, I’ve always wanted one of these. I managed to even get a little cash back ($100) on the deal.

Our fish (can’t remember the name of which ones left) is still hanging in there. The misses changes his bowl daily trying to keep him alive. Well it’s now 4:32 and time to jump in the shower and hit the road. I’m watching the weather and the tornado’s on the news yesterday and sure am glad we don’t live in that part of the country. I don’t know about you but it seems like the weather has been getting more unpredictable or worse in recent years. I’m sure it’s just cyclical but it sure seems worse over the past few years. Say a prayer for all those people.

Time to run, take care, stay safe and God Bless. Hope the misses neck and head continue to get better. She did get a check for $101 yesterday which was her workmans comp paycheck, whoo hoo, $101 dollars, not much huh, but it’s better than no dollars.

Scary Morning

Good morning…actually a very scary morning.  It’s 4:30 a.m. and the Mister came downstairs at 4:20 only to hear a “Clicking” sound coming from the kitchen. The gas burner was on under the cast iron griddle.  The “clicking” was from the burner being in the “Light” position…and yes the fire was blazing.  The bananas next to the stove are black and burned three quarters of the way down, the pam spray was next to the open flame as well and fortunately did not explode.  We had chocolate bars on the counter for Friday Night Fondu…it’s a bit on the fondu side already.  What happened you wonder?  Well, the lab with the doggie eating disorder sniffed out the cornbread muffins that I left on the griddle.  She must have come down only on hour of two before the Mister…anymore time and there very well could have been a family tragedy.  Our ever hungry Labrador must have jumped up, had a snack and on her way down pushed in and turned the knob slightly the igniting the burner!  Luckily, somehow the burner lit, or the house would have been filled with gas.  Luckily, the fire was burning only 1-2 hours or we would be toast.  Luckily, God was watching out for us and the Mister got up a little earlier than usual.  Now, for that darn dog.  We are going to have to lock her up at night, or make sure there is not even a crumb to be found anywhere near the stove.  Most of you probably already do this, but we will have to change our ways.

Now to the big dog….Yesterday morning, our Malamute decided to “Mark” what he thinks should be his territory.  I hadn’t made our bed yet and he snuck upstairs and lifted his leg on the duvet covering our goose down comforter.  He soaked the duvet and the comforter.  I washed the duvet in hot and we were going to take the comforter to the dry cleaner, but it was an old comforter and we didn’t think any amount of cleaning…chemical or otherwise was going to get it clean. The Mister went to Bed Bath and Beyond to purchase a new down comforter with the 20% coupon and a store credit we had.  So, one dog is trying to kill us and one dog is costing us $$$.

I had the injections yesterday and upon the Mister’s suggestion I asked if I could have the procedure with local anesthesia instead of being fully sedated.  The Doc said, “Yes, if I thought I could hold still once I was in position.”  Absolutely, I could hold still if it meant not going under.  I seem to lose a bit of memory each time I have been “Under” and really  I want to keep the memories I have.  I think my headache is better…and if not, I am going to brainwash myself into being headache free.

We have 200 cases of wine being delivered today.  The Mister and Grandma’s helper are going to unload the wine.  We have to ship out quite a bit of the vino on Monday…so..our house will be adorned with cases of wine….at least we still have a house to adorn.

The youngest is up…5:00 a.m.  He was heading into our room, but it wasn’t occupied, so down he came.  He had a play date after school and the oldest stayed home with us all day.  The oldest had such a sore throat that he couldn’t talk and a nasty cough to go along with it.  Poor little dude. I hope he feels better this morning.

Well we have a lot to do today to prepare for the wine.  The Mister has the garage clean…now it’s time to make room in the house.

Love to all…

Thank you God for watching over us….

God Bless,

Say a prayer, cross your fingers

Well, magically, the doctor that was going to take 2 weeks to get into somehow got the misses in at 12:30 today. It’s out patient surgery as they actually put her under and then give her a cortisone shot while looking at her neck through an x ray. We sure hope that this works as neither of us have slept in I don’t know how long. It’s 3:52am now and I’m up for the day, not that I’ve been asleep.

Sorry for my depressing post (I did warn you in the title) the other day but I just needed to vent or get it off my chest.  Do you know how sometimes, it just helps to say it out loud? Well, that was it. We did get more comments in the past few days than in weeks so that was good. For those of you that have offered advice to the misses, thanks. While we appreciate it, we’ve tried everything. First off,  just so everyone is clear, she doesn’t have migraine headaches. We know for a fact that it’s an inflamed nerve (swollen) that’s being pinched or pushed on by an impingement or piece of her spine. First thing that needs to be done is to get the inflammation under control, which is what we’re trying to do today.

Wow it’s March 1st! It’d sure be nice to be in Hawaii wouldn’t it? I’m trying to focus on things here at home and nice sunny places in my mind rather than all the crazy stuff going on in the World. Just so you know I haven’t totally forgot everything, how about all our soldiers being assassinated daily in Afghanistan, how about the democrats running ads for, and going out and voting for, Rick Santorum so the Republican primary doesn’t end which is better for Obama, nice. I could go on and on about new laws the government is passing daily to take more and more rights away from us, but I’ll stop here. Let’s get back to our happy place and all pretend we’re on a beach in Hawaii.

And oh yea, Davey Jones from the Monkees died yesterday. They sure had a lot of hits if you think about it. Heart attack at 66, wow, too sad.

The boys had a half day yesterday and the oldest one was off to a birthday party right after school while the youngest had a friend over. We threw something (I don’t remember what) together for dinner as by the time I’m done working I can’t get up for cooking dinner and the misses just can’t do much with her head. She feels bad but she’ll never get better unless she takes it easy and lets this thing calm down. I keep telling her to just lay down but if you know her, she doesn’t always listen well! (just kidding honey)

I think I’ll check and see if the paper is here as I don’t have much else. Say a prayer for the misses today, we should be done by about 2pm and on the way home. Take care, stay safe and have a good day.
